Arion, in that first picture of Rosberg (on his website) he looks the spitting image of Leonardo Di Caprio.

Ah, the young Dustin Hoffman (Serpico period). Fair enough, actually I ought to bow out of a topic about what women find attractive. :o

Serpico isn't Hoffman but Pacino.

HOW????????

Tootsie vs Michael Corleone and scarface. Hoffman doesn't deserve to lick Pacino's shoes in the cool stakes. Rain Man was a good movie, but you can't exactly compare an autistic guy and a cross dresser to the only guy to match De Niro as coolest actors ever.

If you are heterosexual man you don't feel attracted to a good looking man, you think girls are.

This is a complex topic because some girls will find some guy very attractive, even if other girls think he's ugly or not attractive. Same for men.

As if all "girls and gays" would have the same taste.

Some "girls and gays" might find Nico Rosberg very attractive, and others might find him rather uninteresting because his look is lacking masculinity.

I am unable to see how this should restrict the ability of a hetero man to rate the look of another man.
He's rating the others look according to his own standards. Just like everyone else.

Lol! They both look similar! Great actors both, but as I confuse the two I don't know how many Pacino films (besides Serpico) I've attributed to Hoffman.

In my weak defence ( :p ), they don't make actors like that any more, it's easy to confuse them. While I'm embarrassing myself let me say that the Godfather series is stultifyingly boring, as boring as all the awful self-important American dramas that followed, including that latest post-modern Mafia series, 24, and the terrible Mad Man series they're showing now - on the other hand Scorsese's Goodfellas is a classic of the genre. It's the difference between telling a story and trying to make a statement.

You were right, it was the more or less the correct period. That was a funny comparison to make with the Alonso pic as the resemblance with Dustin Hoffman is evident. (hence the ouch!:) )

The movie title you're looking for is All the Presidents Men, funnily enough :D

I knew I wasn't completely senile: "All The President's Men", surely one of the best films of the 20th Century. Thank you Dustin Hoffman. :D

Yum! Before you deliver them, may I say in mitigation that "Apocalypse Now" is perhaps of of the best films ever made ("Apocalypse Now Redux", however stinks!!!).

I must admit that the sicilian scene from true romance is one of the coolest scenes, but the cool bit came from Dennis Hopper. Anyone who thinks that De Niro and Pacino aren't the coolest actors in the world are quite frankly wrong. :)

Here is the scene from true romance. EDIT: See youtube vid posted by as65p.

Here is the scene from true romance. Please no PC people cursing me, I didn't write it, I am just quoting it.

Actually I was thinking that just reading it it doesn't work at all, the text is not even very original. Someone who's never seen the scene on screen certainly won't understand what's all the fuss about.

Proof that the magic comes from the acting, and that was an especially lucky encounter with Walken and Hopper at their very best.

So, next time put it on youtube! ;)

PS: maybe it should be explained (for those who don't know the movie) that Hopper get's precisely what he wants: a quick passing. He knows they'll kill him, so he's just winding Walken up to avoid be tortured for hours before he dies anyway.

Hmm, yes. A bit embarrassing - if you want to think of it that way. But really, why not go for the positive? The guy took part in the play, and did it with good humor. The only thing wrong with it is how people perceive it or think about it, including LH himself. Just have a laugh, it's good for you!

Obviously Lewis believes that having a laugh at himself isn't good for the 'cool image'.

Clint Eastwood. Pah. Not deserving in a conversation about De Niro or Pacino, (or even Walken).
