X360 will face the same destiny, so ;).

But back to topic. "Unfortunately our first blog has not been approved and we will be unable to release it. This situation may change in the New Year, but for the time being our blog will not be happening."

So no info about game until 2009 :.

F1 Fanatic makes for interesting reading on this whole blog 'issue' at Codemasters.

i think its a non issue. There's probably a very simple explanation for it.

Im assuming if Codemasters want to open a blog to advertise thheir new game then im sure FOM will want to some sort of compensation for that. If it wasnt specified in the original licence agreement then things might get a bit difficult if Bernie is asking for a fair amount of money just to advertise their upoming game on a blog.

Probably the most pertinent point is that none of the true 2009 cars have been released yet.
FOM (and indeed the teams, especially Ferarri) are not going to allow acurate models to be show on bogs before the official release dates. That is assuming that codemasters (at this time) even have them. We may see the odd (touched up) screen shot of tracks/scenery, but no cars until after the first race at least!
And I wouldn't expect the full game until after the first half of the season, regardless of what the current release date is.
Of course this all my opinion, but I do have some experience in console games, having played them since I was knee-high to a grasshopper!! (OK, It was a BIG grasshopper!!!!!)

I don't care.

Ports aren't optimized for any system. Which means the gaming experience is not as good as it could have been. In other words it sucks.

The only decent ported game is Mass Effect 360>PC. I dare you name another.

Yes Mass effect was a good port but wasn't Grid a console game first? It played really well on my system with out a problem! 24 inch HD monitor and all.
Besides Codemaster has a legacy of good racing games. Look at all the Colin Mcrae Rally series from Codmasters only the one just before Dirt was a bit mediocre. I hope thy use the same gaming engine to produce the new F1 game!!!
