in spain, on his second stop, we saw kimi paused for a second or two waiting for kubica to go past, before being released, but he was miles ahead, so no problemmo.
today massa had to pause for a second or so, again while a beemer pitted just in front of him, his lead was 5 seconds at the time, so he still made it out just about ok.
with the race-pace gap between ferrari and bmw being fairly consistent, i can see this happening quite a few more times before we're done ... and if mclaren are just a little closer at any forthcoming tracks, it might be the differnce, that clear run out the pits.
... with the elimination of the spare car, and the elimination of super aguri, suddenly being down the cheap end of the pits doesn't look like too shabby a proposition, poor ol max, nothing goes right this year, not even ze punishment.
something to keep an eye out for anyway.
