I'm going to be in Barcelona this weekend and I'm looking for somewhere to watch the race...

Any idea whether Tenmantaylor's recommendation from six years ago is still our best bet?

I watched the borefest of Bahrain in the Sports Bar on La Ramblas in Barcelona. The nachos and beer were good and the place was littered with big screens. The GF on the other hand was not happy... AT ALL.

Sorry Simon, I'm up to my eyeballs here in Indianapolis and can't check for ya but I emailed my pal Melanie who lives there and hope to get an answer by Sunday.

Hi F1EC ...
Don't know if it's still there but search "Katie O'Connors in Dubrovnik"
They had a SKY Sports feed back in 2013.

Tell them 'Blanka' sent you.

Jp

It was perfect thanks. Prepaid for wifi at a machine on the wall, and was then able to listen to the English commentary on the F1 app while watching the race on screen. A good atmosphere with lots of groans when the mercs collided on lap 1. Table service for drinks if needed. No food but plenty of places to eat nearby.

I was told that the bars in Cavtat would have switched TV channels if I'd asked, but it was a nice boat trip to Dubrovnik.

Great stuff - that's where I'll be on Sunday afternoon! As a bonus, City Mapper says it's only 15 minutes away from where we're staying.

Any ideas for Mexico city, any early morning Venues? I really don't want to miss Monaco.

Ziggo sport. You have to have Ziggo for this though. If you only get a Ziggo subscription then you have Ziggo sport which broadcast quali and the race. You can also buy Ziggo Sport(sport 1) which offers more. In conclusion you need Ziggo which costs 20 euros a month I think

It's on FOX Sports Asia over there, so you may get it where you are staying. Alex Yoong is one of the pundits, so you're in for a real treat. ;)

Hey Johnny:

You can go to my pals Ken and Trish's house..

They host a group of F1 fans for all races

http://www.meetup.com/DCFormula1/

Failing that I bet "Lucky Bar" will show it

Any tips for Frankfurt Germany? i'd usually stream but the wifi in the hotel is shocking, and there isn't much free wifi available due to Germany's strict copyright infringement laws.

Ha! So I have seen people from Indianapolis and Cincinnati. I'm in Louisville. Too bad there isn't a bar in the middle of our triangle we could meet up at that holds the craziest hours just for us F1 fans.

Hey Guys,

I'll be attending Ultra Miami 2017 this march. This unfortunately coincides with the Aussie GP. By My calculations the Aussie GP will start in at 01;00 in Miami on sunday? Any thoughts on where to watch this or perhaps, which broadcaster televises this?

Many thanks.

Sorry I'd missed this..

NBCSN (available in most hotels in Miami now) will have the Q and Race live.

There IS a great sports bar in town,

If you go ask for Norma, tell her Jp said.."He told me this is the BEST BAR IN TOWN"

She'll put the race on for ya

You may even get a free drink !!!

Hi Apex.

The channel v České Republice that broadcasts the race is Hungaro/Romanian.

It's called Sport 2

http://www.sport1tv.hu/

Maybe your hotel or abode has this satellite channel?

I know of NO BAR that would be open at 7 am on Sun morning in Prague.

sorry..

ANyone have suggestions for a local bar here in Melbourne? I'd like to go see the cars but I'd rather catch all the action on TV. Any bars that are 100% going to play it live on the big screen with volume, preferably out Caulfield way?
