(feel free to delete if this has been done before)
OK, I was sitting around thinking about my general apathy towards F1 the last several years, and the following thread sparked a thought (http://forums.autosp...y=&pagenumber=1)
What happened to all the cool team names? Looking at the last race classifications, it's a blah list of essentially manufacturers that only evoke a corporate logo:
http://en.wikipedia....and_Prix#Race_2
Looking at a random 1996 race, there is a variety of names throughout the list that bring something "special" (crazy team owners, weird sponsors, etc). Yes, the engine manufacturers can be bland but always seemed to go along with the team name.
http://en.wikipedia....#Classification
Going back even farther I know there are lots more cool team name combinations, and I'd like to hear both sides of the fence since I know there are people who prefer today's teams over the old stuff. And Ferrari doesn't count because they never change.

I liked that comment someone made a couple months ago about how the team names now all sound like they're a bunch of posers. SUPER Aguri, FORCE India, PROdrive.

Or like Red BULL. Yeah they wish!;)
(although that's Mateschitz' fault, because he named the company like that)

And is there any relationship with next year's sponsors?
