I have been lucky to meet a number of F1 drivers, but my favorite was Stirling Moss. I was an American working in London and at the end of a very hectic day I needed a drink in the worst way. As I walked into a Pub in Sheapard Bush I noticed a gentleman entering thru another door. I wanted to beat him to the bar so I could order my drink as soon as possible, and I got there about 1/2 a foot step before my rival. To my surprise the bar tender asked my rival for his order first by saying, "Mr. (before he became Sir) Moss the usual?" I was floored because he has always been my favorite. Sir Moss then said, "I believe my American friend was here first!" I had just enought sence left to say, "I'll be having what Mr. Moss is having and the bill for both." He then stayed an talked to me for several minutes and was most interesting.

John Watson, i was working at the turkey counter at M&S, walking down a queue asking 'is there a Mrs Watson here?' when a familiar voice responded 'i think that might be MR Watson....'
