Not that it has a lot of merit, given there's been no races there since the unique 1993 event. But it's a point against coming back there :stoned:


To be fair this lap record was a bit controversial even back then, as it was achieved by driving to the pit lane. Mclaren were not ready for a tyre stop and Senna drove straight through, back then without stupid speed limits. As the pit lane was essentially a shortcut from the track, this lap was the fastest of the race.

So a bit of a curiosity anyway...;)

Not even Moto GP are satisfied with Donington.
The track has recieved lots of criticism and the infrastructure has been letting people down this weekend.


I'll give a cookie to whoever guesses what the rumours are for the future of the British Moto GP race...
