The trotting ground featured motorbike racing at the annual Fair. They were in the main motocross bikes with the odd classic dirt tracker mixed in.
For us young kids starved of proper speedway racing this was the next best.![]()
A short distance to the right of the track is the 'Super Pit' a gold mining operation believed to be the largest in the world.
