You could try Washington Photo or Maurice Louche, presume you have tried LAT? I have contact details somewhere if required...

I was there in 1972 and have color shots of most cars, including the #4 and #28 and #72 Corvettes. Plus technical specs of all entries, plus starting grid details, plus hourly positions.

I've previously exchanged corespondence with WO; as I recall it dealt with the issue regarding the naming of the drivers for Le Mans; The upshot that I recalled passing on to WO was that, at that time, George Constantine & others were probably not aware that their names were being used on the entry forms.
I am very interested in the #4 photos; could you please contact him and establish what he has and what the fee will be - they are not going any farther than my file cabinet.
Thanks for the response.

But I had a quick look and I don't think they have anything, unless they only put a selection of their photos on their digital archive, which is quite possible, I suppose...
Anyway, it sounds as if you may have found what you need elsewhere!

The #4 Corvette at LeMans in 1972
Above picture is of the 7-liter Corvette entered by NART, #4 driven by Dave Heinz and Bob Johnson.
51st fastest [slowest?] in practice with a time of 4'42"8, which indicates problems.
Hovered in the high 20s all race, to finish 15th overall.

into the back of what had been the leading Matra - eliminating the
Corvette, and seriously damaging the Matra which lost a lot of time getting
back to pits and being repaired.
The Corvette lost a complete front suspension corner in the shunt.

This is also the team that finished 4th at Sebring in the #57 confederate flag Corvette. But that was a different car.
I have more photos of the car and race on my home PC.
