Heres a small description and events covered in each volume:

From 1953 until the mid 70’s, John Tate a talented filmmaker and member of the Tate Family who gave Britain the Tate Gallery, traveled to the great motor racing events of Europe, where he also recorded the detail of the day in his personal diaries. Attached to the Connaught, Aston Martin and Rob Walker teams, he left to the world a unique insight into motor racing at a time of great change and all filmed in glorious colour throughout the entire series.
Presented by motor racing personality Tiff Needell, each volume is narrated by John Tate’s son Christopher in a poignant tribute to his father. This is a personal story for which there is no equal in the history of motor racing, it is quite literally the Tate Gallery of Motor Sport.
