I am trying to identify a photo of a Maserati 4CM taken at this event (possibly race number 61), so would be interested in ascertaining what Maserati participants there were.

In 1934, von Delius came third overall (tied with Steinweg's Bugatti apparently) on a Alfa Romeo in the "racing cars over 2 liter" class. I did not know he raced a Alfa. Probably a Monza borrowed from a german drivrer ?

Yes, not much competition for the Auto Union. The ERAs were indeed second and third overallthe 1935 results seem to be missing, maybe someone can help ? Stuck is of course the winner. I have Seaman and Mays on ERA as second and third overall, is this accurate ? What about the rest of the pack ?
3000: Balestrero (Alfa) 1, Wimmer (ex-Pietsch Bugatti 35B) 2
1500: Seaman 1, Mays 2, Kessler (Maserati) 3
1100: Kohlrausch (MG 750) 1, Bäumer (Austin 750) 2, Tongue (MG 750) 3, L Villoresi (Maserati 1100) 4
A great day for British cars in the smallest classes

Seaman was second and Mays ( having spun on his run ) was third in 1935 . Seaman set a new record time in the under 1500cc class of 8.25,1 Min according to the 1936 programme.
In Speed Nov-Dec 1935, he wrote that his time was 8mins. 25 1/5 secs, and Mays was 8.36. He states he "had a bad start with much too much wheelspin, as the tar was more slippery than I thought" ( "Sunday was a beautiful day". ) and that "the result was that the whole way up I had terrific wheelspin, but I gave the car all she had got and she has never gone better." He "endeavoured before the event to obtain one of the self-locking differentials as used by the Auto Unions and Mercedes, and also by Raymond Mays in hill climbs, but I had been unsuccessful in getting one". His time was the fastest up to that point, Mays followed and he "had a very exciting wait for the arrival of Stuck in the Auto Union."
Stuck came up in 8.24 1/5 : only one second better.
"The crowd gave me a very sporting ovation on the way down the hill and altogether I noticed an entirely different attitude to that adopted towards Continental drivers who come over to this country"
