Michelin reintroduced Englebert-branded tyres in the 1990s for use by hiistoric road and racing cars, but their production life was short.
I note that they still appear in this ad from Specialised Automobile Services. I don't know whether they may still have access to old stock.

I'm sure I bought a set (I think they were for a California spyder) about 5 years ago. My memory is that I got them through Longstone or Vintage tyre supplies

At the Monterey Historics in 2007, many of the Indy roadsters were not using Firestones. They can't get that size any more. They were using Dunlops and Engleberts. I think they were about 16" front and 18" rear. John Davis from San Jose with the ex-Johnny Tolan 1957 Kuzma was one using Engleberts. Maybe if you contact Victory Lane magazine, they could help you out.

Given that Michelin stopped producing the Englebert racing tyres some time ago would it be wise to use such old racing tyres if you did find an unused set?
If you don't want to use Dunlops what about using Blockley's, their website lists a 5.50 x 15?
