For 50-odd years I have had several heaps of The Motor magazine in my loft, and it is time to pass them on. They date from 1957-1960 (I think - will edit when I next go and look) and the run is probably almost complete (i.e. there may be a copy or two missing for all I know.

They are offered free to anyone who wants them enough to collect them from Letchworth in Hertfordshire, or somewhere that I happen to be going to anyway (by arrangement!).

e-mail/PM me or reply here if you are interested.

I also have a large number of Royal Aeronautical Society magazines, some Thoroughbred and Classic Car magazines and Steamboat Club mags. available on the same basis.

The Motor and the RAeS stuff is now spoken for.

A trip to the loft will probably reveal more in due course.

I find I still have some magazines that I don't need so if anyone reading this wants them and we can arrange a cost-free (to me) way of passing them on please let me know. I prefer to pass them on as one lot, but if there is only one that you need we can negotiate!
They are:
The Automobile
Vol. 1 No. 12 (Feb 1986)
Vol. 2 Nos. 8, 9, 10
Vol. 3, Nos 1-3, 5-7, 9, 10, 12
Vol. 4, Nos. 1-8, 10
Vol. 5, No. 2
Vol. 6, No. 2 (April 1988)
Classic & Sports Car July 1988
Thoroughbred & Classic Cars
Jan. 1977, Feb. 1977 Oct. 1978
Classic Cars Aug. 1988
and Motor Sport April 1950 missing covers and adverts (well small ads are mostly there)

Hello gents, I'm macoran, the cutaway freak from the cutaway thread.
Noticed you guys have a load of old magazines, thought you might be able to help by having a look through 1963 issues of MotorSport

Not really cutaway in the sense, but you'd see suspension views like this as part of them.
I just love this clipping, and am still beating myself for never having gotten the previous month's issue of the mag
as it contained like sketches of the rear suspensions.
If memory serves me right it is from MotorSport magazine, so all MotorSports magazine collectors UNITE and
please help me find the rear suspension sketches.
Else if someone can pinpoint the correct 1963 issue I might be able to locate a copy on E-bay

Not really the right thread for this - I am just using it to rid myself of unwanted magazines.

However, macoran, the page you show is page 675 from Motor Sport of September 1963 and there was a page of that sort each month from August to December.

I knew it didn't fit the thread red-line, but took a gamble and posted it where I could

AND

Paul Macca came up with the trump card in the MotorSport magazine thread minutes ago!!!

Now you gone and made me curious what was in the October November December issue !

Underwhelming (but not unexpected) lack of interest in these so far.
I'll offer them on the local Freecycle in a couple of days and it's paper recycling on Wednesday . . .

Freecycle has found a home for them, so that's that.
