A photo or two, then or now, would help jog our memories or with cross-checking Costin material

There’s a chapter on the Costin Sports Racer (that’s how it’s referred to) in Dennis Ortenburger’s Costin biography “Flying on Four Wheels”. A one-off originally built by Costin to a commission from Jim Diggory, with 1600 Cosworth Ford twin-cam. Diggory sold it unraced to Norbert McNamara in 1965 who ran it in SCCA races until crashing at Laguna Seca. A rebuild by McNamara on a replacement chassis, & with 2-litre Climax engine, was completed by 1968, although he didn’t race it again and sold it to someone in Phoenix, Arizona.
You might find some race history from 1965 in back issues of Competition Press. I was going to suggest you could find these on-line – see this thread - http://forums.autosp...y=&pagenumber=1 however having just tried the relevant link only get the message: No shared files/folders found.

Hello, might be worth putting a post on the Costin forum
http://www.costins.co.uk
I know D Ortenburger who wrote the Flying on Four Wheels book is on there along with quite a few people who worked with Frank Costin plus some long time Costin owners.
