Hi,

I googled almost a hour, but didnt find what I'm looking for.
Maybe here somebody can help me.
I'm looking for FIA standard starting grid regulations for exact measures.

1. How wide is starting box?
2. How far is third position from first?
3. How far is second position from first?
4. How far is outside lane from inside lane or it depends on track width?
5. How far are them from track edge?
6. Does all the tracks in the world use the same standard, or it depends what racing series it hosts?

This would be the closest to a 'standard' I can find

So, the only way to find out is to grab a tape measure and go to the racetrack? :rotfl:

1.) I would guess, its 2 m (as the F1 cars are 1,8m wide and there is a bit space left (see pic1))
2.) 8m (according Appendix O to the int'l Sporting Code 7.7)
3.) 4m (as being simply the half distance of 2.))
4. & 5.) I assume it has to be made by formula (4) = 2x (5)** - see pic2
6.) At least according point 2) and the regulations (8m for F1, only min 6m for any) there seems to be a dependancy of what series is racing. Though if you fulfill the 8m requirement for 2) for F1, this would fit any other FIA series obviously.

**Example
| <2,5m> |_| <5m> |_| <2,5m> | ... for a track with 14m width (2,5+2+5+2+2,5 as each car slot is 2m wide)
