Also several good 300S photos appear in Barry Green's "Glory Days - Albert Park 1953 - 58" book published in 2002.
Hope this helps,

A good selection of "Australian" Maserati 300S photos from circuits like Albert Park, Fisherman's Bend and Bathurst are in the "Personal photos of Australian motor racing '50s to '70s" thread, as started by kaydee in 2007. Problem is this is a massive thread, but patience will reveal some real gems going back to the early pages within the thread. Many of them from Kaydee personally. More recently I seem to recall John Medley posted one of his great shots showing Bob Jane's 300S in its GT format (with a roof) at Bathurst. This was either in the above thread or in "Bob Jane's cars" thread.

In Green's Albert Park book, Philip Skelton is credited as the photographer of some of the Albert Park photos. Philip used to frequent Tony Johns Motor Books here in Melbourne. So Tony may have a contact number for him.

This is a photograph that will be part of a special commemoration to Reg Hunt at the Information Centre at Broadford.
Nigel has also sent one [which has never seen the light of day] of Reg in his 250F which will also be part of a permanent display for our benefactor.

I have a great photo of Reg, his 300S and two of his bikes that his grandson sent to me.

He did not buy the car in Monaco! He purchased the car (chassis #3063) in Bergamo where it was stored for many years in Count Lurani`s garage.Originally posted by Lola5000
