Thx.
Links will probably appear on Justin.TV leading up to the session. The BBC stream will be a lot more harder to hack than the ITV one, however its possible someone could put up an webcam to catch it.

Or observe themself using:
Proxy, VPN, Tor(read what it is before using)
BBC seems to check IP only at the start.
Of course its possible that somebody re-streams BBC but he surely wont use webcam.
justin.tv usually has plenty of F1-streams
TVAnts program has Star Sports and Chinese CCTV 5, but I'm not sure about Friday shows.

Good link there Mastah.

Much like the "Live video - World Track Ch'ships" is on the homepage at the moment.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport/
iPlayer is for catch-up so it won't be live on there.

Your're about a year late Bernie.
Go back to thinking about medals and gongs and stuff.

If you go to the iplayer homepage for a given channel, eg BBC One, you'll notice a live link at the top. That should work for qualifying and the race.Originally posted by RobH

In fact, for qualifying and the race, you can already go to the relevant pages
http://www.bbc.co.uk...rix_Qualifying/
http://www.bbc.co.uk...ian_Grand_Prix/
Go to those pages once the coverage has started, and it'll give you the live multicast.

I'd pay for it personally to Bernie if there would be FP streams for my country.

In many different countries you can watch only the qualy and the race, no free practices.
FOM is an idiot not to provide webstreams for us on a commercial basis, we'd happily pay for a quality online stream.

Then, go fvck yourself.
And please, after that, in order to learn a little bit, check what Dorna offers in MotoGP, live and offline, not to mention NASCAR or any other series.
I hate those Bernie's slaves that:
- Do not let you post a race incident example in YouTube.
- Do not let the world enjoy live streaming
- But simultaneously do not offer anything to the F1 fans.
And please, we are also waiting for F1 transmitted in high definition. It is 2009, you know?
P.S./ Amrl, I know you just pretending to alert everybody not to post links to live streaming here. Don't be offended. I am also hypothetically speaking with a real F1 management bureaucrap member

Only problem is that just because they say they are legal doesn't mean they are. I'd be wary of spending money on any 'streams' that are questionable.

Yep.
What should be applauded fast, OTOH, is the guy at Google that came up with the idea. Brilliant free advertising based on peoples desire to feel superior...

It's a freakin' stone age. It's really high time F1 rights were bought out from whoever owns them now by a non-profit entity (or an LLC) created and capitalized by a consortium of current F1 teams (a.k.a. american model of professional sports). Then we'd have a properly aligned set of incentives: F1 teams benefit from as much exposure as possible (that's what sponsors pay them for) and we the fans would benefit from a much expanded coverage in every way conceivably possible.
Bernie, on the other hand, gets off by selling TV rights on an exclusive basis and in trying to extract the highest possible rents from TV rights, seeks to foreclose all other modes of coverage (TV companies pay get more advertiser money if more people watch them instead of online streams). In the end, we get screwed.
I think I'm gonna write a letter to FOTA with a proposal - just in case they haven't thunk of it themselves (I'm sure they did).
