Hello!

I recently visited a Monaco car museum and saw a blue Bugatti 35 with number 8 in the exhibition. Is this a first GP winning car or something else?

It's not the Bugatti Type 35B #4914 of William Grover "Williams" which today belongs to the German collector Friedhelm Loh, but the Bugatti Type 35 C #4864 of Marcel Lehoux who ran that first Grand Prix of Monaco in 1929. It belongs to André Binda. It is merely on loan to museum.

Where is the Monaco car museum? And what else do they got there?

Rather annoyingly, I've been to Monaco and didn't know about this place. I'd have liked to have gone! :(

We were taken there by a local contact in '07. There is something for every one's taste/interest ..

I wondered which Bugatti that was. Thanks for the info. As for the photo, note the "Golden Arches" on the table umbrellas! We ate at one of those tables, then went down to the Princess Grace Rose Garden:

Bugatti Type 35 B #4914 of William Grover "Williams" has long been exposed to the Monaco Car Museum (see photo) but since the sale of this one, it's no longer the case. So the Bugatti Type 35 C #4864 of André Binda replace it.
