Hello............has someone photos of the Ferrari 250 TR s/n 0718????? specially in his yellow w/red stripe as was raced at 1958 Le Mans by Bianchi/Mairesse???????????. Thank you very much..........

Bill Chizar ran the car in quite a few 'Vintage' races in the eighties, including here in BC at Westwood. Bill was quite the party animal! One year he broke a half shaft and I attempted to help him repair it but Bill was having far too good a time....

When Steve Patience restored the car he took a fibreglass mould off it. Presumably you can still get a fibreglass version if not the real thing ;)

The 1958 Bianchi/Mairesse car was apparently 0724. Some photos here:

Vince is right. According to my previously referenced Barchetta web site, 0724 was the Ecurie Francorchamps car raced and crashed at LeMans in 1958 when driven by Bianchi/Mairesse.

Oh, my apologies, it was my mistake, I am trying to make an 1/24 scale model, and in some modeler´s websites, apears the s/n 0718, but in fact is the s/n 0724. Thank you very much for the help.

In the last part, we can read: "Jacques Swaters claims that his 250TR´s were 0724TR and 0736TR although some sources list his cars as 0718TR and 0736TR".................

Just goes to show that one can never be 100% certain in this game...
