Does anyone know who is the pilot on the following pic driving a Ferrari 166F2?
The year could be 1950-51 and the race could be the "Susa-Moncenisio" hillclimb.

For sure Giovanni Bracco won the 1950 Susa_Moncenisio driving a 166F2 race no.104

Cortese in 1949 drove a both 166SC an 166F2 so could be the n.98 in the pic but should be confirmed, while Maglioli for sure dorve a ferrari 500F2 (race no. 146) in 1953. Castelloti's 1953 car was a 225 Sport Vignale Spyder.

I know that Bracco was second in 1951 on a Ferrari (race winner Willy Deatwyler on Alfa Romeo 4500cc): I think that the 166F2 no.98 could be Bracco's 1951 car.

I found the information and the pic on hte following site

http://www.supergara...ine/storia3.htm

The picture of the ferrari no.98 is wrongly addressed to Willy Daetwyle (Alfa 4500cc) but probably it could refer to the same race.

The complete Maglioli's 1953 car number (Ferrari 500F2) is 146 (in the picture available on the relevant page only the 46 is visible) but considering that the winner's number was 144 (Willy Daetwyle -Alfa) we can assume that the not visible number is one.

It is not 1953. Ferrari was there with a factory team: Maglioli in a 625 F1 and Castellotti in a 250 MM.

Looks like the 166 F2 Cortese owned.
