Dear All - Ordinarily I wouldn't do this but I really need some help and have exhausted everything that I have and everything that I have begged, borrowed and stolen!! A few of you will know that Jeremy Walton and I are currently co-writing a book on my late father (Gerry Marshall for those that don't know of him) to be published by Haynes and part of this is to show all the races that he competed in and the result for each race.

So far I have recorded his participation in 1,451 races in the 43 years that he raced and with hard work (checking Autosport, Motor Sport, other magazines, result sheets, trophies, etc) and some help from one or two people I have managed to trace the result of 1,335 of these races but there are a 116 that I am missing. It may be that he did not actually compete in these races but I either have programmes, entry sheets, diary entries (even my memory on some!!) and I'd like to either cross them off the list or find out the details.

What I have listed below is the races that I'm looking for help on and the format is day/month/year/circuit/car/spec/race and where I am unsure of any of the detail I have put TBC. I apologise for the format, abbreviations and wording but as I'm sure you can imagine it was quite time-consuming entering all this information and I can provide more specific data (track configuration, car details) than I have posted.

What I am really after is either the complete result or just my Dad's result in each race, where you obtained this result from (be it a magazine or your hand-written note in an old programme) and from there I can then hopefully find the official result. N.B. Some of these races I have found in Autosport and Motor Sport but the result either didn't go past to the top six or the information was inconclusive whether Dad was entered or not.

I know this is for a book so I hope the moderators allow this topic as it did start off as a labour of love for me to record my late Dad's career and to prove some of the doubters wrong about his win tally - if all is to be believed it should stand at 625 and I'm not far off. Also, as TNF is more about information sharing if anyone can give me a result I am more than happy to reciprocate with a result from the 500 plus official result sheets, 900 Autosports (500 other assorted magazines too) that I have or provide details from the 486 race programmes I have and I am happy to provide a spreadsheet showing all of the races I have these details for.

Gregor
I take it that list is of races/meetings you don't have results for?
Have you checked Autosport for all of them, or are you missing some copies?
What about Motoring News?

These are my missing ones David and I've tried Autosport for all of them but only about half were in there and three quarters of those said GM raced but didn't list the end result.
Unfortunately my Motoring News collection is rubbish and the one place I know that has them (The Heritage Motor Centre at Gaydon) are proving very difficult to get hold of.

TNF is a bit of a last resort as I know how good some of you guys were at keeping programmes and writing stuff down.

I'll see what I can find in MN - though my collection is far from complete
Might have some other sources, eg official results, for some of the '80s meetings

Gaydon are very helpful if you actually go there, Gregor. You can even get into the whole place for free if you march confidently up to the front desk and say you're using the archive :) (It's on the first floor - take the lift and turn left and it's dead ahead!)

Beaulieu also have a full set of MN - but unlike Gaydon they charge to use their archive and you have to book in advance. They also charge for photocopies, which you're not allowed to do yourself. Last time I was at Gaydon they did me about 20 copies at no charge!

Been there and tried it, plus the new BRDC archivist (who has been excellent help as has Gordon, the old BRDC doorman) has just come from Gaydon and gave me all the contact details of the new person at Gaydon and still no help unfortunately.

I didn't know about Beaulieu so I'll give Lord Montagu a go so to speak and I find a digital camera helps, almost like a Bond spy camera!!

Well, it's two years since I was there, so maybe things have changed.

Well, connections with His Lordship might help, but in my experience neither Gaydon nor Beaulieu allow digital cameras.

I've had a quick look through my almost complete collection of 1967 Motoring News.

7th May 1967 Autocross TVR Griffith Players No.6 Autocross Championship - Chess Valley MC

...John Ackers (in Gerry Marshall's TVR Griffith) from Liverpool in the Northern area, came along to show the Southerns what it was all about.

...until Ackers appeared with the blue and silver TVR ... first flying lap was just on the minute and his final one a remarkable 1 min 58.84sec - the only sub-2min run of the day and a deserving FTD winner. Local man Gerry Marshall drove the TVR at the end of the day but could not better 2min 11.30sec; almost stopping on the second lap although his first was just on the minute. Although Ackers picked ip the 10 pounds for winning the class and another 5 pounds for FTD "Barmoco" man Marshall had the honour of taking the GT class points which must have made Martin Lilley and the rest of the TVR team who had journeyed down from Blackpool, very satisfied.

9th Jul 1967 Snet Austin Mini 850 BRSCC Festival Saloon Car Endurance for Special Saloons

Another 850 Mini in trouble was that of Gerry Marshall/Alan Keefe. The car had refuse to start on the grid. and after the starter had been changed it was found the plugs had been wrongly fitted.

No further mention in the report or results.

23/24th Sep 1967 Tholt-y-WillTBC TBC European Hillclimb Championship

Gerry Marshall flogged up in a very second-hand looking E-coupe and pipped Martin Lilley's BarMoCo-blown Tuscan in which Gerry took the last year's award in the same class..

I'll check the other years later.

I'll stop duplicating the effort then

From earlier issues checked so far:
5/7/64 Snett - no mention in GT Cars Over 1600 race (but he did win the 1000cc saloons race)
1/10/66 Silverstone - no mention
2/10/66 Brands - no mention

I've had a quick look through my almost complete collection of 1967 Motoring News.

Brilliant, thanks Milan. Some background on those three:-

7th May 1967 Players No.6 Autocross - Dad's diary said the head-gasket had blown and the Autosport report says there was steam coming out of the car.
9th Jul 1967 Snet BRSCC Endurance for Special Saloons - This was Bill Blydensteins lightweight Mini and Dad shared it with Alan Keefe (who now lives in France) and the Autosport report says they lost 7 laps at the start but I can't find the result.
23/24th Sep 1967 Tholt-y-Will European Hillclimb Championship - That's fanatastic, as this came from my Mum and it had stuck in her mind as the previous year Dad had won his class and got 5th BTD in the TVR Griffith and my oldest sister was born (on the 24th) so for '67 it was a family outing and Mum was sure Dad was in an E-Type and there is a very good chance that this "very second-hand looking car" was actually the famous CUT7!!

Thanks David.

5/7/64 Snett - no mention in GT Cars Over 1600 race - Martin Lilley won his class in an E-Type but according to Dad's diary he drove but I'm trying to find another reference.
But he did win the 1000cc saloons race - Thanks; I've got the trophy he won (well, it's on display at Donington!!) plus the Autosport (10th July).
1/10/66 Silverstone - I have the programme for this but he might still have been in the Isle of Man for the Tholt-y-Will Hillclimb on the 24th & 25th (when my sister was born).
2/10/66 Brands - I have the programme for this but it was Mum and Dad's first wedding anniversary and see above so he might have been family-orientated for once!!

Have you tried the National Motor Racing Archive ? Despite the grand name, I believe it is a relatively small amateur enthusiast run collection but they may have something.

From my progs and "on the day" annotations. Note where I have said non-starter, in all cases Gerry was not on the grid list so presumably did not practice -
4 April 65 Brands Ilford Film 1000cc #28 Austin Cooper S = non starter
31 Oct 65 (NOT 1 Nov) Brands St Andrews Cup – not in programme – suggest you double check this reference.
2 Oct 66 Brands Guards Trophy #93 TVR = non starter
12 Mar 67 Brands Race of Champs – not in programme
18 July 67 Brands London MC – typo ; date should be 18 June not July - Redex Gold Cross Saloon 1000cc Took over #`141 Mini 850 entry of Ken Ayres – retired after 7 of 10 laps.
18 June Silmos Trophy GT #121 TVR – non starter
5 Aug 67 Brands – according to “Forthcoming events” in preceding prog this was a motor cycle race mtg. Cars raced 6th Aug but Gerry does not seem to be entered.
12 Nov 67 Brands Sevenoaks DMC – not listed in prog and did not race
26 Nov 67 Brands Guards Trophy #16 Ginetta G12 – non starter
Redex Saloons - #217 Viva – non starter
F Libre race Ginetta – non starter
17 Aug 69 Brands F Ford #79 8th in Heat 2; 17th in Final
Also ran in Viva in Redex Saloons 11th (last) after a pit stop (3rd on grid)
19 Aug 73 Brands Prod Saloon #9 Capri – non starter
14 Oct 84 Brands Prod Saloon – not entered ; Opel Monzas driven by A Jeffrey, J Cleland, T Lanfranchi. #1 shown in prog as drive TBN. Actual driver was Jeffrey, maybe Gerry was going to drive this entry?

Dont forget that are fully detailed Record Books available on Goodwood (Robert Barker), Crystal Palace (me-Richard Page), Oulton Park & Aintree (Graham Heath). This list EVERY entry for EVERY race and almost all races have full results - the contents are of course copyrighted.

6th March 1966 Brands TVR Griffith Autosport Cup
Gerry isn’t mentioned in the MN report – but it does say that the Barnet Motor Co. TVR Griffith was raced by Tony Lanfranchi.

9-11 Feb 1979 Rally Ford Escort Henley Forklift Galway Rally

Not mentioned in the MN report, or listed as a finisher in the results.
It might be worth asking about the rallies in one of the rallying threads (TNF’r Fred Gallagher will have painful memories of the ’79 Galway, having suffered a nasty crash).

Rallysport is another good source of rally results. I don’t have one covering the ’79 Galway; there may be copies at Beaulieu.

The British Newspaper Library at Colindale (north London) has a full set of Motoring News

Hi Duncan - yes, I tried them last year when I first started doing this but the price was prohibitive.
Once I have finished I'll have a lot of stuff to donate to them as I've got duplicate programmes and results plus where I've bought collections from ebay I have about 100 I didn't need.

Not listed in the entry list and no mention in the report or results.

It'a bit of 2+2 equalling 22 that one and I think I can cross that off.
Dad has it written in his diary and a fellow TNF member is sure Dad did the RAC Rally in a Lotus Elan (I'm not sure how that's possible but he assures me) and I know Dad raced the Viva at Brands during the rally and I think there was a stage or a service are for the rally at Brands.

Thanks Pete

I think Tony did race the Griff too but just needed to check as seems slightly odd but it might have been in preperation of the BOAC 6 hour race at Brands that they did together on the 8th May. (Dad did race Roy Ensor's 1293 Mini at the March meeting)
As for the rally I'll cross that one off too, it did seem like a strange one but there was an announcement in 1st February Autosport - I'll cross this one off too.

Thanks for the advice too.

From my progs and "on the day" annotations. Note where I have said non-starter, in all cases Gerry was not on the grid list so presumably did not practice -
4 April 65 Brands Ilford Film 1000cc #28 Austin Cooper S = non starter - Thanks
31 Oct 65 (NOT 1 Nov) Brands St Andrews Cup – not in programme – suggest you double check this reference - I took this (along with the date) from a picture in Autosport that looks like Dad in the Barnet Motor Company Elan - obviously not so deleted.
2 Oct 66 Brands Guards Trophy #93 TVR = non starter - looks like the excess of the Isle of Man had kicked in - deleted
12 Mar 67 Brands Race of Champs – not in programme - This is from Dad's diary so he must have just spectated - will dig deeper (somehow!!).
18 July 67 Brands London MC – typo ; date should be 18 June not July - Redex Gold Cross Saloon 1000cc Took over #`141 Mini 850 entry of Ken Ayres – retired after 7 of 10 laps. - sorry, the date was a typo by me and I think this was Bill Blydenstein's Mini, Dad raced it the weekend before at Snetterton.
18 June Silmos Trophy GT #121 TVR – non starter - Thanks
5 Aug 67 Brands – according to “Forthcoming events” in preceding prog this was a motor cycle race mtg. Cars raced 6th Aug but Gerry does not seem to be entered. - this is from Dad's diary so maybe spectated only.
12 Nov 67 Brands Sevenoaks DMC – not listed in prog and did not race - This is supposed to be the 1st Vauxhall race and comes from Dad's diary.
26 Nov 67 Brands Guards Trophy #16 Ginetta G12 – non starter
Redex Saloons - #217 Viva – non starter
F Libre race Ginetta – non starter - Dad's diary and programme (great write up in the programme - Well-known saloon exponent GM to drive S&K car, renowned for his tyre-smoking, sideways attitudes should be good value)
17 Aug 69 Brands F Ford #79 8th in Heat 2; 17th in Final - Great, I had the heat but not the final (Dad's diary just says "Well back, springs shagged")
Also ran in Viva in Redex Saloons 11th (last) after a pit stop (3rd on grid)
19 Aug 73 Brands Prod Saloon #9 Capri – non starter - This is from CCC, plus Dad raced Old Nail and a BMW at the meet.
- This was Dad's car but due to reasons beyond his control Andrew took it over at the end of '84 and for all of '85.

Thanks for the advice and the above Richard. I'm confident on all Goodwood results (16), Crystal Palace (11 - I've seen your excellent book and one day I will get a copy but it's a bit out of my budget at the moment), Aintree results (just the 1 event) but Oulton Park I will see if I can get Graham's book (can't find it on the net at the moment) or contact him as I have 99 events but am missing 8 results.

These are the ones I have programmes for:

22nd Sep 1973 FordSport Day TBC – date is correct, but no sign of Gerry Marshall. Only saloon races were a Celebrity race and a round of the Motorcraft Mexico challenge, won by Tony Dron

Gregor,
Gaydon is only up the road from me, so I asked a relative who used to work there

I have some info on who to talk to and would be more than happy to make some enquiries with a view to gaining access to archived MN's

Anyway I think the list will get a lot shorter once the knowledge and info available from TNFer's has chance to filter through

Let me know and Good Luck

28th Sep 1986 Snet Sunbeam Tiger HSCC John Scott Insurance Endurance Race.
No mention of the Snetterton event at all.

29th Mar 1987 Brands Ford Escort Thundersaloon Championship - Shell Oils.

...Behind the Mintons, Hugh Marshall and the evergreen Tony Lanfranchi brought their Escort into sixth place, three laps down.

Motoring News 1st April 1986. MN made a typo of his name?!

20th Jul 1987 Donington MG B HSCC Guildford Estates Classic Sports Car.
Sorry, nothing there apart from the fact that it is at Donington, not Silverstone.

20th Sep 1987 Mallory MG B Dutton Forshaw MG Car Club BCV8 Championship. (Classes: B, C, & D)

Martin Dell (MCB) ran out victor of the MGCC B/C/V8 event when racelong leader Malcolm Beer (GT V8) went out on the last lap. Tim Ranson (B V8) came from a lowly grid position to second and Doug Smith (C GT) was third. Not far behind came Rod Longton (B Roadster) who with Joe Blackburn (B) and Gerry Marshall (B) gave us some clean, hard racing throughout.

Class winner: G.Marshall (2.0 B Murray) Fastest laps: Marshall 56.7s (85.71mph)
Motoring News 23rd September 1987.

27th Sep 1987 Snet TBC TBC HSCC Endurance Race.

25th Oct 1987 Snet MG B 1840 Dutton Forshaw MG Car Club BCV8 Championship.

...The gap promptly filled by Ron Hopkinson and Graham Davis, with Gerry Marshall making up the leading quartet... Hibberd fought back briefly but fell back over the last half of the race to finish fourth leaving Davis and Marshall to battle for the runner-up position which Gerry claimed on the final lap after swapping positions several times.

2. G.Marshall (MCB)

Nothing from MN but I found a date for the event though.

Nothing from MN but I found a date for the event though.

9th Aug 1987 Brands Sierra Cosworth Thundersaloon Championship - Shell Oils.

Second in class B was the well driven Tony Lanfranchi/Hugh Marshall Escort Warrior....

Motoring News 12th August 1987. Different car there?

25th Jul 1988 Brands Ford P100 Uniroyal P100 Challenge.
Nothing in there.

Nothing there but I doubt it is the same weekend as the the Brands Hatch 1000kms.

26th Jul 1988 Brands TBC TBC British Truck Grand Prix

9th Jul 1989 Donington Opel Manta Thundersaloon Championship - Johnson Tiles.
Nothing again.

There's also a round of the 1989 AMOC Gordon Russell Furniture Intermarque from Cadwell Park but I can't remember when it was but Dad won.

10th Sep Cadwell TBC TBC AMOC Gordon Russell Furniture Intermarque

I looked in the Cadwell article and there was no AMOC race but funnily there is a lovely photo of Gerry driving a TVR down Paddock on the same page and I looked into the Brands article and he did win the TVR Tuscan race on that weekend! How odd.

Anyway here is the result:

10th Sep Brands TVR Tuscan TVR Tuscan Challenge

Here are a few more.

The 17th April 1971 meeting at Silverstone was a SUNBAC event and had races for F750, Saloons, Formula Ford, Sports Cars, F1200 and Formule Libre. No mention of Gerry anywhere in the report.

No mention in the report of the 14th November 1971 meeting at Brands Hatch.

The Santa Pod meeting in November 1971 was a two-day affair organised by the BDR& HRA. It was badly affected by rain and finally abandoned at 3.30pm on the Sunday.
No mention of Gerry but Bill Blydenstein was there with two Vauxhalls.

Not mentioned in the 28 May 1972 Croft report.

The Sutton and Cheam Motor Club event at Brands Hatch was on August 13 1972.

There was a half-hour delay in the proceedings to tidy up after Gerry Marshall’s Vauxhall Firenza threw a rear wheel, rolled at Druids and caught fire. Marshall was rescued in exemplary fashion by one of the marshals, Alan Maynell, but like Nero he had to watch from the sidelines while his car blazed.

Group 1 Saloons – 10 laps

The Castrol Gp1 race was split into two parts, this one for the little ‘uns up to 600 pounds basic price and 800 to 1100 pounds. Gerry Marshall held pole position in the Dealer Team Vauxhall bronze coloured 2.3-litre Firenza, only the second outing for the car, with Bernard Unett’s Mopar Avenger alongside.

With the larger engine homologated, Marshall carved a couple of seconds off his 64.0s class record in the morning, and lowered the time officially in the early laps of the race, while drawing from the madly scrapping Unett and Alan Wilkinson, whose Mexico seemed intent on marriage with the Coventry product.

Having established his lead, Marshall relaxed a bit and seemed in danger of being caught on the seventh lap. At Druids, the left rear wheel flew away and bounced to the bottom of the hill, while the Firenza overturned and caught fire while in the air. The car came to rest on its roof, half way down the hill, with Marshall trapped inside as the roof had caved in around the windscreen area. While he was trying to escape (the car was well ablaze as the main pipe to the fuel tank was severed) a marshal appeared at the window and pulled the driver out feet-first. It was certainly due to Mr Maynell’s promptness that Marshall was completely unharmed, but the car was virtually gutted.

There is no mention of Gerry in the Group 1 race at Mallory Park on 11 March 1973 but he did dominate the Special Saloon race in the Thames Television Fireza. The car was using the 16-valve Lotus head for the first time and Bill Blydenstein was reported as saying it was giving about 230 bhp with “plenty more to come.”

Do you need any info on that race?

Not sure if you've got these, but they were on your original list Gregor. All at Mallory :

18-5-75 Forward Trust Spec Saloons - Gerry not entered. He was in the Radio 1 prodsaloons tho', finishing 9th overall, 5th in class behind various Capris.

21-9-75 Radio 1 Prodsaloons again, entered. Looks like he quallied well down, didn't finish in top 4 in class.

15-8-76 Britax Prodsaloons - Gerry not entered at all.

22nd Sep 1973 FordSport Day TBC – date is correct, but no sign of Gerry Marshall. Only saloon races were a Celebrity race and a round of the Motorcraft Mexico challenge, won by Tony Dron - This was a diary entry from Dad but maybe he didn't get invited!! I'll scratch.

12th Apr 1974 Saloons Firenza – there was a non-championship Gandy Brakes sponsored ten lapper for special saloons, but no sign of Gerry in the entry or results (race won by Dave Millington) - This is from a fan who was spectating, maybe he got mixed up but Dad did drive Dave's Firenza but I'll scratch.

27th Apr 1974 Britax Prod Saloon Austin Marina – entered by Marshall Wingfield at no. 134, but no evidence as to any result or even if the car started - This is from a photo by one of our fellow TNFers, Peter McFadeyn - maybe he just practised.

8th Mar 1975 Simoniz Special Saloon Firenza – again doesn’t appear in the entry list - Another diary entry and he did the prod saloon race but I'll scratch.

14th Aug 1976 Britax Prod Saloon TBC – again no evidence of an entry - Another diary entry but I'll scratch.

Thanks for looking.

John, yes, please ask. The e-mail address I was given was from Stephanie Sykes who was an archivist there and I know one of her projects was archiving every Motoring News. Steph is the new BRDC archivist and is a lovely lady and has been really helpful in allowing me access to the BRDC archive at the Farm.

Thanks for checking Richard. There seems to be about four different dates foir the first Vauxhall race Dad did and this is in his diary but looks not; there is 2 Vauxhall races before this but I definitely have the 19th November 1967 at Brands Hatch so maybe that was the first then.

- Yes, I have this one. Is there any chance Sutton and Cheam ran more than one event that year? I have a trophy from Sutton and Cheam from 1972 called the Darenth Trophy and I can't trace any other events Dad did at the 13th meeting.

Thank you Milan.

I have the Special Saloon race thanks Milan but I do have a picture of Dad in a BMW 3.0 Si for the Castrol Saloon race - could possibly be entered as Tony but maybe Dad just practised it - he did drive it at Brands in March and finished 3rd (Doh, I should have added that to the list as I don't have the exact date but was in the Autosport annual, Only Here for the Beer, Car and Car Conversions and I have a photo).

18-5-75 Forward Trust Spec Saloons - Gerry not entered. He was in the Radio 1 prodsaloons tho', finishing 9th overall, 5th in class behind various Capris. Thanks Dan, I'll scratch the FT race, was a diary entry. I had the prod saloon race and result but was that in the Hamilton Motors Firenza, number 261?

21-9-75 Radio 1 Prodsaloons again, entered. Looks like he quallied well down, didn't finish in top 4 in class. He missed practice for some reason and started with 10 seconds. Any idea on the position?

15-8-76 Britax Prodsaloons - Gerry not entered at all. Will scratch as was a diary entry and was racing Baby Bertha at Brands that day, one of her few retirements too!!

Thanks Dan.

Gregor,
I have now tracked down and spoken to current archivist at BMH Gaydon

Seems happy to help, we (you?) will need to email detail of which material is needed (MN dates etc) and then an appointment can be made to view

As I said before, I am quite happy to pop up there, unless you prefer to yourself, which of course is fine

I can let you know my/their email details etc if necessary, by pm or whatever

Regards,
John

I've been through my 1974, '75 and '76 copies of Motoring News and can find no mention of Gerry in any of the meetings you have listed.

Could he have been at those meetings in some sort of advisory role as quite a number of them featured Dave Millington driving and winning in a Firenza?

Likewise at the 5th Sept 1976 Silverstone meeting the report of the Production Saloon race mentions that there were five Marshall-Wingfield supplied cars in the first seven.

Hi There, GERRY MARSHALL.

You mention thaat there was an incident at the Sutton and Cheaam Motor Club meeting at Brands 1972 when a "marshall" Alan Maynell
helped Gerry.

I am Alan...as above...I am still involved with motor sport and would be only too pleased to help with any info regarding the incident. It still seems as though it was yesterday!!!!

I have very fond memories of Gerry and am delighted to hear that a book on his life is in the offing.

Alan Maynell.

Gregor, or anyone, did you manage to get results for the 8th April at Oulton Park, the Gold Cup round. Prod saloon information is so thin on the ground and the media only really discuss the top six so the Magnums and Escorts don't get a mention..

AUTOCROSS

SUCCESS

FOR WRIGHT

IN appalling weather condi-

tions, 28-year-old Martin

Wright took his 1650 c.c.

Turner sports car to third

place in his class at the first

Southern area qualifying

event for the Players auto-

cross championship, which

was held at Elstree, Herts,

on Sunday, before some

2,500 spectators.

Wright, living at 10 Grey-

stones Close, Kemsing, and a

sales supervisor with the main

Ford dealers at Sevenoaks,

threw his sports car round

the muddy 1,100-yard grass

course to record two minutes

28.4 seconds and was only

beaten by the more powerful

TVR GT car shared by Gerry

Marshall from Barnet, and

John Akers from Liverpool.

In fact, Wright was credited

with six points for second

place as Akers, being a Nor-

therner, could not claim

Southern area points.

Next southern area event

will be at Five Heads Farm,

Horndean, on May 21 under

the jurisdiction of the South-

sea Motor Club. Kent will be

invaded by southern autocross

competitors on July 9 when

the Sevenoaks motor club are

promoting their qualifying

event at Great Danes Hotel,

Hollingbourne.

Hi Mike, is that for the 1977 race? If so, Dad finished 4th in class and it is mentioned in Motorsport News, 14th April 1977 edition.
If a different event, please let me know, as I may now have.

I take it this is for the 7th May 1967 Elstree Players Autocross?  Great stuff - I wondered how Dad had been given a class win when he was a touch slower than John Akers - the head gasket went.

I should update what I am still missing - I have 619 wins out of the magic 625 and still have a few races with no result...
