stop when no wet tire was ready?

I sure didn't see it from Cleveland, Ohio, USA, but I remember reading about it in Autoweek. Pouring rain, Posey was leading, had a slow leak on one of his rear tires. Comes into the pits; they filled the tire with air and sent him back out, still in the lead. Tire leaks more air; Posey pits again. Posey complained later that if they had just filled it again he could have won but they changed the tire and dropped him to second place. Don't believe he won any Tasman races at all that year...
