I don't know of any links but I may have some pics of the car at Long Beach Grand Prix.

As an American, who actually fills out his census form question "ethnic background?" as "Nova Scotian" I was super-thrilled to see the Wolf Team appear as an 18 year old.

Italian red? French blue? British Racing Green? Get a look at that Maple Leaf suckers! One-step-removed nationalism soared in my F1 loving heart.

For what the WR1 lacked in innovation, it made up for in sheer simple beauty. Becoming a winner was icing on the cake.

Thanks for the link. That site, connectingrod.it, is certainly full of enthusiasm, although points like "the traditional Cosworth 6 cylinder engine" and the "Wolf's Gold on Black" (it was dark blue) mean a bit of research/translation help couldn't hurt. Still a fun trip down memory lane

I took this shot of Jody Scheckter in the Wolf WR-1 at Watkins Glen for the U.S. Grand Prix on Saturday October 2, 1977. Probably October 1 final qualifying in which he ended up 9th. Shown as he accelerates from the left-hander after the Chute towards the toe of the boot. On race day, Scheckter was to 4th place by the 4th lap in the rain, 3rd from lap 15 to the end, after Stuck's accident during a spirited drive.

The blue is so dark, it usually looks black. A beautiful car, I still have my 1/12th scale Tamiya kit, unmade at home. One day!!
