[Allen Brown]

Between 1974 and 1976, John Cole raced a Chevron B21/23 in European sports car racing.

I understand that he was from London and at one stage his car "can be seen at Stapleton Motors, London N7".

Does anyone remember him? Anyone know him? Anyone have any suggestions how I might get in touch with him?


Mark Cole sometimes drove his car but I don't think was actually related.

John Cole has been the landlord of the Harcourt Arms , 32 , Harcourt St, London W1 1DT, 0207 723 6634, for the last 15 years or so. A very jovial man, he hosted the London meeting of the Alfa Romeo Owners Club when I organised it in the 1990s.

Thanks Nick - that's excellent. I just called and unfortunately, he's just gone on holiday for a fortnight but I'll catch him when he returns.
