Is several bmw or historic racing books I see pictures about BMW 501/502, and 2000 CS cars at race tracks without any desciption, or just very minimal info like 'it was a clubrace event' without any year, track, etc information.
My question is if these cars ever raced in real race from 1952 - 1970 ? Like hill climb, rallye, touring car races, etc.
Thank you.

AND: Arthur Heuberger (CH) 1957 Mille Miglia (race#410) 28.oa. (BMW 502)
Regards Michael
(and from own memories: up to the early/mid 60s 502 were raced in (German)hillclimbs, mostly towing cars to fill-up the categories!!)
