I bought my first racetech in November and I have to say I was comfused. It wasn't as good as I suposed. Please tell me is RE better than Racetech and is it useful to subcribe it? Maybe is there any other good mag in UK or US?
Thanks.
I think both magazines are suffering from the maturation of the racing industry and the technology within it. When I started buying them in the early 90s (very soon after they started) there was such a diversity of cars less of the one-brand series that dominate now.
The recent series of articles by Danny Nowlan in RE have been good in terms of presenting some real engineering maths relating to race cars. Sadly if you read both you realise that a lot of the "articles" are advertorials written by freelance tech writers and therefore there's a lot of cross-over.
Personally if there was a subscription website that had decent tech content I'd prefer that to a magazine.

I'm pretty sure you're on a site like that, you just have to ask the appropriate questions.;)
Maybe not all the answers but the price is right.

Speaking of which, what are some good tech sites (free and pay, though I doubt there's many free ones if at all)? I'm not a racer but I do like reading about the technical aspect of it. I've searched myself but all I can seem to find is very basic stuff. I could be wrong but there's got to be some more in depth stuff than a basic "oversteer looks like this". And sorry if this has been asked before but I may have overlooked the topic
