Hello i have decided to sell a set of prints i received from my Grandfather after his death. He got the set as a award while he spent a year in Japan to work with the car designers back in the 80s. He worked for Ford in the design and modeling department in Dearborn, Michigan from the early 60s till 2002 when he retired. Now about the set! Here is a list of what is in the set ...
• A RARE FIND, ESPECIALLY IN THIS PERFECT CONDITION.
• Published in 1979, this portfolio of high quality prints is a collection of 13 cutaway drawings by Yoshihiro Inomoto and 9 paintings of the depicted automobiles in action, by Walter Gotschke and Peter Helck.

•Prints include:
• Cutaway Illustration by Yoshihiro Inomoto - 1906 Locomobile 90 h.p. “Old 16,” the winner of 1908 Vanderbilt Cup Race.
• Cutaway Illustration by Yoshihiro Inomoto - 1912 Mercer Type 35R Raceabout.
• Cutaway Illustration by Yoshihiro Inomoto - 1920 Ballot 3-Litre Indianapolis Race Car.
• Cutaway Illustration by Yoshihiro Inomoto - 1925 Ford Model T Touring Car.
• Cutaway Illustration by Yoshihiro Inomoto - 1926 Bugatti Type 37 Grand Prix.
• Cutaway Illustration by Yoshihiro Inomoto - 1930 Aston Martin International.
• Cutaway Illustration by Yoshihiro Inomoto - 1935 Auto Union B-Type.
• Cutaway Illustration by Yoshihiro Inomoto - 1948 Ferrari Tipo 166 Inter Spider Corsa.
• Cutaway Illustration by Yoshihiro Inomoto - 1951 BRM Type 15.
• Cutaway Illustration by Yoshihiro Inomoto - 1954 Mercedes Benz 300 SL Coupe.
• Cutaway Illustration by Yoshihiro Inomoto - 1958 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa.
• Cutaway Illustration by Yoshihiro Inomoto - 1931 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Corto Spider Zagato (Color).
• Cutaway Illustration by Yoshihiro Inomoto - 1939 Rolls Royce Phantom III Sedanca de Ville (Color).
• Artwork by Peter Helck - “Old 16,” the winner of 1908 Vanderbilt Cup Race.
• Artwork by Walter Gotschke - Bugatti Type 37 Grand Prix at Futa Pass.
• Artwork by Walter Gotschke - Two Aston Martins in rainy night, Sarthe Circuit.
• Artwork by Walter Gotschke - 8C 2300 Alfa Romeo at Madonie Circuit, Sicily.
• Artwork by Walter Gotschke - Auto Union B-Type, Mercedes W125, Alfa Tipo 12C 1937.
• Artwork by Walter Gotschke - Chasing Mercedes: Auto Union B-Type.
• Artwork by Walter Gotschke - Reg Parnell in BRM in 1951 British Grand Prix at Silverstone.
• Artwork by Walter Gotschke - Mercedes 300SL Prototype, 1952 Carrera Panamericana Mexico.
• Artwork by Walter Gotschke - Auto Union C-Type in action.

Now Yoshihiro Inomoto is internationally recognized as one of the most renowned automotive illustrators and artists of all time. His prints are highly sought after and very hard to find. Most of his early prints are no longer available.

This set is in PRISTINE CONDITION! I am selling it because im not really into old cars and would rather sell it to someone that will appreciate the beauty of it more than i would! If you are interested in this set or individual prints please contact me. The prices vary on each print or i can give u a full set price. Also i have a few of the prints on ebay. Just search Yoshihiro Inomoto.

Thanks!

Hello ksunshine31,
My name is Mark Arnesen. I was very interested in finding out about your Inomoto portfolio. Correct me if I am wrong but the whole package was encased in I think 6 -8 different envelopes or folders of various kinds. Also what is the dimensions of the package? As I remember it was about 1.5 ft high by about 3 ft long. I ran across this item recently at a car museum auction in Los Angeles near where I live. I was quite intrigued by it. Is the whole set still intact? If so, I would be interested to find out how much you are asking for the complete set. I was not able to locate the prints on ebay. If I had known about this set when I attended the auction I would have registered as a bidder because it was quite reasonably priced. You can contact me either at my email address marquecar@gmail.com or my phone number is 818-772-0727. You can contact me by phone until about 1:30 in the afternoon PSDT on weekdays or I'm in and out of the house on weekends.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Thank you for your time.
Mark
