Campos and USF1 have extreme question marks over them. Lotus has their car ready, it will be launched next week and will be at the last two group tests.

I think Lotus is doing a shakedown on the 12th, and then attending whatever the next test after that is.
Campos and USF1 aren't even going to get to the grid.

USF1, if they get their car done in time, have some tests lined up to do solo in America. Skip Barber Motorsportspark, I believe. They said that if possible, they'd like to join the last test, but thats not looking likely at this point. Are these three teams making any tests before the season starts proper? Even shake downs...

Testing on Saturday as well then? Not often that happens.
I wouldn't be surprised if they run into Sunday, the way the weather's looking.

Conspiracy theories will start as Hamilton is scheduled to run Thursday the only dry day!
Conspiracy theories usually rely on some little element of fact. JB is running on thursday so this seems unlikely in this case

But it's true, they are boycotting his time on a wet track with the new tricky long wheelbase car on skinny tyres!!!

Q. How are things looking in terms of the car's performance and competitiveness?
WillyRampf: "That is even more difficult to assess this year than in previous years. All we can say is that our car is delivering the performance expected based on our simulations and measurements in the wind tunnel. Vastly differing fuel loads make it impossible to draw an absolute comparison with other teams' cars."
So, Sauber finally solved it's problem regarding discrepancy between computer and on track data.
Ferrari going to Jerez with mechanical update:

If Mclaren plays their cards right, they could have the best car come Bahrain, but it needs developing properly. Button and Pafett NO, Hamilton YES.
#34
Posted 08 February 2010 - 20:19
Because he has so much influence on car design? At least he makes sure we never forget. But perhaps Whitmarsch can use his own judgement on this one.Anyone else think McLaren should just run Hamilton for the whole 4 days. I highly doubt someone like Button will be able to give any meaningful feedback. Whitmarsh is not stupid, I am sure he has noticed that already.

Because Hamiltons feeback worked so well for the development of the 2009 car...

In deed, 2.5sec off the pace to race wins.Because Hamiltons feeback worked so well for the development of the 2009 car...
The 24 had no roots in the 23 as it was made for a completely new formula, Hamilton started to give feedback about the 24 when he started to drive it.

That's good to see. Also, are the trucks a hint at the livery?
So it's white, green and yellow.

there are two drivers in the team and incase you have not noticed most times when a team wins the wcc it takes both drivers delivering.
The teams want the wcc the wdc is a nice bonus but its the wcc that pays more bills.
Now what you want them to do is ensure only one driver has any chance of being upto speed come the first race great way to help all the other teams.
Do you support Ferrari by any chance?
Besides have you never heard the saying two heads are better than one?

Lotus is going to perform the shakedown in Jerez? Or are they just spying the others at the moment.
Yes, anyone know what's the score with the Lotus trucks in Jerez? I thought they were doing a shake down in the UK in the next couple of the days, have they secretly made it to Jerez?

A forty-ton truck is hardly "secret"
PS; I wish I had thought of "screaming V16" - a real noise, a proper noise

Hamilton didn't have influence on the 24 (because of new regs). Please get your facts straight before you comment.
If mcl really would want the bahrain win, it is the right thing to do but then the ratboy fans would protest in front of the MTC at Woking.
