Hi all
I am reluctantly letting my much-loved and cherished archive of Autosport magazines go due to an impending change in person circumstance and the need for additional space. The collection runs from 1975 to 2007 and is complete with the possible exception of one or two issues over that 32 year period.

I am based in Woking and would be happy for you to collect or I can arrange delivery at reasonable cost (contact me for a quote)

The magazines can be found on eBay or feel free to contact me directly if you have any queries.

As the listing says I have a whole load of motorsport memorabilia including race programmes, an extensive diecast collection, media guides and press packs covering many series. If you have any specific requirements then drop me a line!

I haven't counted but with 51 issues per year it will be about that, yes. There may be one or two issues missing over the years but these can be easily acquired from Haymarket or from eBay even. Additionally there will be a number of duplicates too.

This is a copy of an email response to one of the guys watching the auction eBay.

Hi mate,
Hope you have had a good week. I have just got back from
the storage where I keep the magazines and have got an estimate of
size/weight for you.

I have acquired a number of heavy duty cardboard
boxes and have packed approximately half of the magazines into these (they
are further packed into archive boxes similar to these:

but I need to get some more boxes to complete the packing process.

Each archive sleeve weighs in the region of 6kg and there are 46 sleeves.
Therefore, with an extra bit of weight for packing, etc. you should be
looking in the region of 250-300kg total. Please remember that this is an
estimate and I cannot be held responsible if this is inaccurate as I have
no way to weigh the complete load as one unit.

In terms of size the boxes
could easily be packed onto a Euro Pallet to a height of approximately
1.2m. If you wanted to have your courier collect them from me I would be
happy to palletise these boxes ready for collection by your carrier. I
could stack the boxes, protect them with wooden packing and then shrink
wrap the pallet to protect it in transite.

HOWERVER THIS WOULD BE AT
YOUR OWN RISK -- my responsibility would cease as soon as the pallet was
uplifted this end.

Further to this, I have a batch of Austosports running from 1993 through to 2003. They are unsorted so there may be one or two missing but the truth is they came from a couple of other collections I bought to complete the main run so there are actually many copies in there which are doubled up. Again, they are currently in storage in Surrey and would need collecting.

I am pleased to say that the main run of magazines are now sold and will be going to a good home.

I still have the 1993-2003 run and will be open to offers on those.

Also a late run of Motorsport magazine which I will be particularly sad to see go... if anyone is interested in those let me know and I will sort and itemise them

My next project is to itemise my large collection of programmes centred on the BSCC/BTCC and prepare to eBay those...
