So does anyone have a rough guess how long it would take or have sat in this stand & know for certain.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I was at Monza last year and had tickets for the first corner. On the Sunday we took the train to the Lesmo stop and I fully expected to just to be able to walk down the outside of the circuit from the Lesmo section. However we started walking and the Lesmo entrance takes you through a tunnel, into the middle (centre) of the circuit, so basically the opposide side of the track from where your seats are for this year and where our seats were last year. We had to walk all the way down past the back of the pits, under the track and back towards the first corner to get to our seats and it took us 1hr and 30 mins, and that was after getting off the train.
In hindsight, we would have been better taking a paid train to Monza, and taking the shuttle bus (I don't know what the queues were like for that on the Sunday). We went to the track on the Friday which involved taking the train as far as the Monza station, then taking the free shuttle bus to the track. The shuttle bus still dropped us about a 30 minute walk from the track, but the route we walked took us right in to the main grandstand on the start/finish straight. So I think the place your tickets are for are just to the right of where we went in. On the Sunday that would have been better as we could have probably just walk a tiny bit further down to the first corner.
Having said all that, last year was my first time at Monza. Perhaps there was a better route we could have walked from the Lesmo station, but I sort of had assumed we could just walk around the outside area like we had done on the Friday.
I want to go to Monza again this year and if I do, I will be getting tickets for the start/finish straight, very close to where you have tickets for. If I do go, I think I will take the shuttle bus from Monza station (I think it runs on the Sunday as well) to the track. That would drop me off a lot closer to where my ticket would be for. After the race, they open the gates so you could walk on the actual race track to the Lesmo stop, or just go back the way you came and take the shuttle bus to the Monza station.
One thing to point out. The train was pretty full when it left the Lesmo stop to go back to Milan, but it then stopped in Monza and took on more people and it was sweltering hot and it stayed there for a while too. My and my friend were standing, sweating bullets, with a load of other people and couldn't wait to get back into Milan to get off the train.
Hope this helps.

Hi guys. I did Monza with the girlfriend on a VERY wet weekend in 2008 when a certain Mr Vettel won his maiden race. Having walked the entire circuit over the 3 day weekend I feel I have good knowledge of where to go, etc. What Pablo says is true but equally if you get the train to Monza station and then the free bus from there to the circuit you'll be dropped off just inside where the park starts. It's then a good 10-15 minute walk to the main straight/F1 village. Basically the whole Monza circuit is built inside a national park that involves ALOT of walking to get anywhere. I wouldn't say it's an ideal GP for folk with a condition such as yours. We see golf buggies whizzing people about everywhere at Silverstone and Monza. Is it possible to hire someone to do this or is it VIPs only?
Hi to everyone, my first post here,
I am planning to visit Monza this year, grandstand tickets. When you say "where the park starts" I assume that you mean the spot where the entrance of the track is located at the end of Via Enzo Ferrari (or Via Vedano if you prefer)? Is this correct? Is this the main entrance of the track? Thanks to all for the information!
