I’d like to hear from anyone that knows about the races that took place at Moclips or the Stearns car.
Thanks,
Bill Wagenblatt

The Stearns was probably the same 'Six' (a 45/90 with a 12.9L engine) which won the 24H at Brighton Beach in August 1910.I recently received a series of photographs taken at Moclpis, Washington during a Free For All race held on July 4, 1910. The race, run by The Automobile Club of Seattle, was won by Albert Stevens driving a Stearns. I'd like to hear from anyone that knows about the races that took place at Moclips or the Stearns car.
Thanks, Bill Wagenblatt

I would be interested to see anything that you find out about these races though.

Moclip(s) is the right spelling. Reportedly it's the Indian word for 'large rusty tin building'.

Bill
On teamdan.com the track is designated as Mocklip Beach, the Ford 1-2 is also mentioned.

There is a Historical Museum in Moclips, they have a website with contact information.
I've been to Moclips many times, it's often as dreary as shown in the picture above.
