Anyway, please share what you have, or if you know of anyone who has a collection, be it large or small, regardless of its quality, I'd love to hear from you.
Thanks in advance
Steve

I moved to Aussie with JR way back when.
I have a house in Rosberg Place and am sure it is around the dummy grid area of Bay Park.

Thank you for that NZ Mustang link , Ellis. Great pics of JR's Mustang.
I moved to Aussie with JR way back when.
I have a house in Rosberg Place and am sure it is around the dummy grid area of Bay Park.
A study of Google Maps reveals the following Streets : Denny Hulme Drive, and off it Rosberg Place, Francevic Ave, Radisich Place(Probably Frank, not Paul), Grable Court, and Crichton Terrace. Also Fahey Ave, Marwood Place and Kingsley Place in the vicinity, and Lotus Avenue as well although it might belong with Poinsettia, Lantana etc.
Do I remember correctly the prizegiving ceremony with Ron Grable and the Governor-General's delectable daughter (?Joanna Porritt) presenting the trophy?

I feel I should recognise the bloke in white overalls on the other side of Red's car in the last photo

Agreed it does, David, but Inky would have been still at school then

Ellrosso, no I don't know Bruce Jenkins. I couldn't find any shots at all of the NZ saloons on oldracephotos.com. I'll need to take another look.
Ellis French, yes I am a regular visitor to NZMustang, its been really helpful.
Gavin Evitt, thank you for posting those photos, they are absoltely magic! And in colour, even more so! How could I go about getting copies?
Lee, I would also love to get copies of your photos too if at all possible?
Thanks again everyone for your replies, I really appreciate your help. Lets keep this thread ticking over! See what else we can coax out of the woodwork.

Yes Wenoopy you probably do. Here is one of the photos I took of the occasion that was published in (and been scanned from) NZ Hot Rod Magazine.
It was around 41 years ago.
And a more formal photo from the collection I scanned.
Here are a couple more colour shots from the scans.
Allan Boyle Mini always imaculate.
And Barry Phillips (I think) Cambridge Mini
And on the subject of Mustangs, it was great to see the Frank Bryan/Red Dawson car at the McLaren Festival and in NZ to stay hopefully.

Can't remember if the other Arden Mini, Mary Carney's, ran in Cambridge colours at the same time
BTW, looks very much like NZ saloon champion Rodger Anderson at the far right of that pic

I think this was a November Northern Sports Car Club Meet at Pukekohe, that included Australian visitors John Leffler and Don Holland in their Minis.
Must have been run under Allcomers rules.
And some random shots.
Fahey Breadvan Anglia
Fleetwood Mustang
Big Pete's Mustang visiting.
