I was thinking about this prior to Barcelona, alot of people think the race itself is normally processional and least entertaining, but also in terms of the first corner, it's normally usually always very clean first corners for the grand prix races. It's the ultimate aero track to know which car is the business I know, it is a technical fan's requirement track for it's defence I know, but for first corners, is it the most clean.........

Spa at La Source especially in the wet has been a display of spins now and again for overtaking issues.

Monaco really for the first corner normally always clean, when was the last time we had a problem .

Silverstone, normally always clean first corner,

Now tracks like Sepang, revised hockenheim, albert park, broken wings and stuff, Brazil's interlagos Montoya and Schumacher first corner memories etc
Albert Park and China have those straw circle funneling effect from a long straight, someone gets tripped up on.

Suzuka normally was clean, forget Senna vs Prost, that stuff was a exceptional case :D :smoking:

I might of miss some races, if so, please correct me on history.

Can anyone possibly draw up a history of incidents at certain tracks and narrow down which is statistically the first corner incident issue track of them all!!!!!!!

Maybe a good method - tracks that have few incidents in T1 should be scrapped :)

I am actually almost serious - there is very few incidents in T1 at tracks were you can not overtake in T1 and therefore no one will try to squeeze in. If a track have other overtaking spots I guess a sweeping T1 is good so we get a clean getaway, but usually T1 is THE place were people expect overtaking.
