Total domination from Mark Webber, winning easily and always seemed to have something in reserve. His best win and best race probably too, ever. His pace around lap 40-50 was just in another league.
Vettel got struck by brake problems again, but never really matched his team-mate's speed.

-man of the race together with Webber has got to be Hamilton. Pushed Vettel from the beginning and jumped him at the stop, though helped by a less than smooth pit-run from Vettel. Fastest lap from Hamilton but luck is cruel as he suffered a blown tyre. That superb effort deserved the points for second, but he goes away with nothing.
Button lost a position to Schumacher at the stops and made a few attempt at passing but seemed to quickly accepting his position and stayed there for the journey home. Something like 55 seconds behind Button when he retired.

-Alonso had a bit of a lonely race but ends up in second thanks to those two infront suffering problems. The Ferrari had good race-pace, but Massa could only show it for a handful of laps, finishing way down on his team-mate.

-Rosberg finished on the podium in China. This weekend, in the updated car..... Schumacher has a good, solid run to fourth. Well done.

-Sutil and Kubica ran together for the entire race, and pushed Massa, but it was a quiet Sunday afternoon for them.

-Barrichello turned things around from yesterday to score points today. A fine race-performance.

-Alguersari was involved in a bit of drama, but showed impressive speed towards the end, doing high 25's.

-Please discuss!

Flawless race from Webber. And while Vettel is lucky, he's getting good at nursing broken cars home. Hamilton's tyre failure adds a tiny bit of spice to an otherwise bland Barcelona bore-fest.

Dump Borecelona IMO - leave it for pre-season testing ala Jerez and get a proper track on the calendar, the place is a joke.

Good to see Schumacher is more "at home" in his "new" car, a credible 4th place. Then again, keeping Button behind on a track like this would have been child's play!

Most of tracks are a joke. At least this track has ambience if you go there, unlike some of the others that are in the middle of nowhere.

Btw, it's clear Red Bull is a step ahead of all the others at least in speed and performance. Vettle had a problem but still he finished in the podium at least. Alonso did a good race, etc.

Jaime gained points again. He was there to take advantage of Hamilton's problem but he deserve the point. He overtook when needed.

race was not too exciting. shame for mclaren and hamilton. it seems mercedes has almost taken step back their pace was terrible.

one thing is for sure red bull is mighty quick mark could have probably gone quicker if he wanted.

It wasn't too bad a race compared to previous years - although I guess some on here will proclaim that this was the worst ever. Some moments of 'goodness', notably the Button vs Schumacher scrap and the last 10 laps were eventful.

Very unfortunate for Vettel and Hamilton, especially the latter. Glad to see Schumacher finish 4th.

No not the wrost ever was alot more watchable the Borerain. The Button and MS scrap and Vettel problems along with lewis made the race intreasting.

yep, from the "Fans" whose F1 knowledge goes back 2 years

as he said, not great, not boring, there was some overtaking, but unlike previous Spanish Gps, there were some twists to the story eg. Lewis' rim/tyre(not sure yet) to Vettels problems and the Button Schumi battle went on for a lot longer than expected, was nice to see Schumi give a lesson in defending your position

I wondered that aswell. There was some gap, but still, the other way around I doubt Webber would be given the first pitstop.

Semper idem at Barcelona. All the teams test there, they get their cars to the best possible shape there, then line themselves up in speed order with the fastest given a head start. And people wonder why the race is boring. Either get rid of the Grand Prix, or tell them to test somewhere else.

It certainly isn't the worst Barcelona race ever, but IMO it's probably the most boring race so far for 2010.

Schumacher looked quite pleased in the post-race interviews with RTL, rightly so - both him and his team performed well today, that pitstop was quite swift (3.8s I think) to keep him in front of Button.

What lesson? Rosberg with a f-duct needed over 2 seconds per lap gap to pass Hulk. It's impossible to pass here without a huge margin.

**** race, fantastic drive by Webber though.   Hamilton didn't deserve the shunt as he was another of the highlights here today.

Brilliant race by Webber, even though the TV director did not have any time to show him. Decent job by Vettel as well.

Sutil did a great race, best of the rest. Surely Force India can find a better paydriver as his team mate, Liuzzi is always so slow (then he had a DNF today).

Lewis destroyed his tires trying to impress by setting faster and faster laptimes towards the end. I guess some people never learn.

Mediocre race by both Jenson Button and Nico Rosberg. At least in Rosberg's case it is clear the team is not working for him anymore, Jenson has no excuses.

Have you forgotten Bahrain already?

In my opinion, this was a decent race and shows that Red Bull's advantage in race trim isn't as great as it appeared in qualifying. Looking forward to Monaco. :)

Wow well done Mark, absolutely dominating drive!!! Congrats to Schumacher in getting a good finish and holding off Button, he needed the upshot.

Bad luck to Hamilton  would of been a strong second place.

No. It's McLaren but even they would have noticed if there were a problem and asked lewis to slow down.

Whitmarsh and Hamilton both admitted it was something irregular rather than a normal tyre failure. Lewis even said he was "cruising" because he thought catching Webber was unrealisitc.

Great win for Webber, but once again reliability is a worry for the Red Bulls.

Lewis did amazingly well today, but he is having absolutely no luck at all this season... :(

Button totally anonymous today, just not on it at all

Mercedes were not very convincing, although Schumacher was far better than Rosberg

I was enjoying the race until...

He was pushing MSC pretty hard, some of you seem to forget that at this track it's almost impossible to overtake.

1. Surprised about the beating Vetter suffered today by Mark. I always expected Webber to be on grounds with Vettel in qualy, but always behind in terms of pace. I still thinks this will be the usual pattern, but not today.

2. Red Bull clearly quicker in terms of pace today. Maybe not as much as in qualy. They are again the team to beat, more than before Barcelona.

3. McLaren has catched and overtake Ferrari. Hamilton sligthly quicker than Alonso.

Webber

I guess you never learn,it was not Lewis fault!. It was either a tyre or a rim failure

Nope, it looked to me today that you need over 2 seconds to pass in Barcelona. You need an "huger than huge" margin.

Would somebody mind clarifying something for me?

Last year at Monza, Kubica was given the black and orange flag for a piece of front wing hanging off. Today, we saw a similar story with Massa. Why wasn't he give the black and orange flag?

Good race today. Alonso maximising as usual and lucky as usual, which is an ominous sign. He is getting ready to pounce he just need a bit better car. Looks like Lewis killed his tyres again and paid the price. At least he got fastest lap I guess.

Aussie TV just replayed the Hamilton crash, they reckon he may have been trying to get on the radio into turn 3 - he knew the tyre was going out of 2.
