World Championship decider", the newspaper headline says.
Did someone see the Robbie Williams "Supreme" hit single
video clip ? Williams is the "Bob Williams" character
(complete with sideburns - 70s style) who fights for the
F1 World Championship with Jackie Stewart. There are scenes
from the 1970s GPs at Clermont-Ferrand and Brands Hatch
and also some of 1972 and 1973 races, I think.
By the way, "Williams" misses the final race because his
team manager accidentally locks him in the trailer minutes
before the start...

How's the song, then? A friend of mine is a big Robbie fan, although I have the distinct suspicion that she champions his looks more than the music. Never heard him, though, but I seem to remember him being a former member of one of these perfectly dreadful "boy groups"!? Anyway, the prospect of having to watch hours of horrible MTV clips to get a glimpse of this one isn't very appealing...

I don't particularly like the song, but the video is well cool.
Who is Bob Williams' team manager?

Robbie was a member of 'Take That', a British all-boy band from the early 90's. He single-handedly split the band up (by turning up drunk for a gig) which I, amongst others, shall be eternally grateful for. That said, he has done a few good songs, like 'Let Me Entertain You', but I haven't seen this one yet. Can't wait for it's Australian release.

Check out the Robbie Williams thread in the Reader's Comments.
We've got some more info and links where you can watch the video and the making of it.
