Hi,

The BBC coverage today said Michael was caught doing 40kph over the pit lane speed limit at Barcelona. I'm just trying to find a link or a source for this. Anybody know? I'd have thought the FIA would publish it but i can't find it so far.

Cheers.

Yes, he was fined 8000 euros or so.

He was caught twice : once 40km over the limit, once 1,5 km over. It was a technical problem.

No, it's a drive-through penalty instead. Used to be a 10 second stop/go penalty before drive-throughs were introduced in the earlier 2000's.

Fair enough, thought there might be a fine on top of the drive through, just to really rub it in :)

Barrichello got stop/go in Malaysia during Honda days. I suppose it was probably speeding way over the limit.

No, that was simply to let him know, subliminally, that when they morphed into BrawnGP, that he would in no way be the Champion with them!
