Oh dear, that's awful... I have heard that he was not well, but I had no idea it was that bad. He made a brilliant contribution to motor racing. RIP

That's very, very sad. I've just been writing about the 1975 F2 season for a future publication, and Kessel achieved a great deal that season with a year old car and limited budget. Showed that he had real talent and bravery.
RIP.

I knew that Loris was in a bad way about three months ago, but his determination to fight the disease, live as normal a life as possible and stay cheerful were still evident.
A true enthusiast of the sport and stayed involved right up to the end. He will be missed, and especially so in Italian racing and Swiss motorsport.
RIP, Loris.

I recall Loris racing the pretty RAM BT44B when I first visited the Belgian GP at Zolder in 1976. May he rest in peace.

So sad. Loris was such a nice man. He build himself an empire with his Ferrari dealership. They are one of the top Ferrari dealers and race teams in Europe. His son, Ronnie, is a good kid and will keep the Kessel name going in motorsports & Ferrari for a long time.
Mi dispiace molto. Ciao Loris.
