the most polite driver in F1

Despite the fact he wasn't feeling brilliant about the result, he still had the good manners to go through with it. His tone and manner didn't suggest that life begins and ends at the race track. WELL DONE NICO!
On the opposite end of the spectrum who is the rudest? I can't really think of anyone that stands out for this one?

Nico (Rosberg) seems quite nice, like when he was apologising yesterday as you said but I sometimes find him to be a little arrogant

I think we as armchair enthusiats can not seriously judge the personality of a driver. There's so much in the atmosphere that cannot be transferred in an interview transcript, we miss the context in which a statement was made etc etc. It is also not possible (for example) to judge from the distance whether a person is arrogant or just shy.
What we can do of course, is have our own personal favourites and dislikes ;) regardless of reality.

Bingo.
And based on that, Chandhok seems like the most polite/nicest guy. Just a normal guy with a chance in F1, in a terrible car, he has sympathy and he's just so cool about everything.
Plus - he's competing with Anthony Davidson for fastest man in Brackley, and he has an awesome Twitter feed.

Apart from that with the balls (did he say that?), is any of that rude?!

Didn't Hamo have a row with some female journo, which later made her cry!?! Not to say that's proof of him being impolite - I just can't imagine Kovi or Rosberg doing something like that..
No he didn't. The female journo was from L'Equipe and was anything but polite towards him. Given her manner I somewhat doubt she would know what tears were. But here we are, yet again with a topic which is turning into a Hamilton bashfest filled with fantasies passed off as fact.
As for the topic itself, all drivers are generally polite to the media.

So we should be slow to criticise ....but it is clear that some are just class individuals.
My favourite: HK, kept his head up dispite being beaten like a drum for a season and a half - hardly ever complained despite (probably justifiably?) getting the short end of quali strategy for most of that time.
This year, he's helping leading a new(?) team and is doing a great job off track, PR wise, with builiding the Lotus brand in F1. Latest example: donating 300,000 (not sure what currency) to charity.... this guy is not earning mega millions compared to others.
... and he's super polite and considerate.

That said, Rosberg does seem like a fairly polite chap but I don't really watch enough driver interviews to know if he's a stand-out.
Much of what goes around in sports, entertainment etc. would be considered horribly rude and inappropriate, not to mention incredibly unprofessional, in 'normal' world. I'm not too bothered but sticklers for etiquette would be...

My vote has to go to Nico Rosberg, he apologised for being in a bad mood but for the rest of the inerview I was thinking if thats a bad mood, what are you like when you are happy(?)
Despite the fact he wasn't feeling brilliant about the result, he still had the good manners to go through with it. His tone and manner didn't suggest that life begins and ends at the race track. WELL DONE NICO!
Nonsense, Nico wasn't visibly in a bad mood, he was trying to put it on and to make sure he succeeded he told us he was in a bad mood, he wasn't sincerely apologising for it. All part of his post-session I could have done better speech.
This is what I just posted in Rosberg v Schumacher.
Rosberg is making himself look stupid. He puts in good performances, but he's trying to play us all for fools. I for one am so tired of hearing after every session 'I could have been faster'. When will he actually be *faster*.
It's pathetic. I'm not taking away the fact he has finished higher than Schumacher in many sessions/results. Just when will he say 'this is the maximum I could do today', he can't go faster, whether that be because he just can't or because he isn't capable of hooking it up when he needs to, it doesn't matter the result is the same he doesn't live up to his own hype.
Sure we believed him in the first race, maybe even into Australia, but now it's laughable hearing him try to convince us he could have gone faster. This time after qualifying he even believed he could have got pole...
Nico can be very polite though, but my vote goes to Chandock without question.

Yeah whatever. Definitely is certainly real polite but I'm coming around to the view that maybe he doesn't have the bad-ass hard man core that makes Schumacher and Alonso such hard racers. Harden up Nico, and that may mean losing a bit of the nice guy image sadly.Nonsense, Nico wasn't visibly in a bad mood, he was trying to put it on and to make sure he succeeded he told us he was in a bad mood, he wasn't sincerely apologising for it. All part of his post-session I could have done better speech.

And he's a down-to-earth, modest guy as well!! He doesn't suit the stereotype for F1... certainly not that of a champion. Pity, it would be nice to see him competing with the best on more equal terms.
Nice guys finish last, I suppose

IMO, I'd say Mark Webber is the most polite driver in F1 based on his pre and post race interviews.
I remember Webber saying that Räikkonen was driving drunked in a post qualy.
