1962, 1963 and 1964

I am writing this post again, as I`m not sure if my recent post was registered.
I was a sidecar racer from 1962, my first race and first win was the handicap race at Brands Hatch, I won the race by about 39seconds, this race was a national event with the great
sidecar men such as Chris Vincent, Bill Boddice, Owen Greenwood, Fred Hanks, alan Thurgood etc etc, the motorcycle news made a comment about how me the novice beat such champions,
well we did practice at Brands much as possible, so we did know the circuit (as I do today) very well. However Bill Boddice was in Second Place, and I received a cheque for THE WIN of £45.
So, I am just wondering if anyone knows or could tell me how to find out the date of the win at Brands, and how I could find some photos, and photos for when I competed in the 1963 and 64 isle of man TTs.
Many thanks

whilst researching my dad's history (Harry Scholes) I might have some details from clippings etc. I will only have 1962 info. Please could you tell me race dates, expected venues etc. By the way Continental Circus might be able to help.
best wishes

Hello Peter,
well I've looked at the programme entry for 19 th August 1962 and you aren't in it. The newspaper results for that day show Bill Boddice winning the h/cap so I guess you can rule that out. I also looked at a 8/10/1961 programme ( just to be sure!) and of course you weren't in that.
I don't have any other info for Brands 1962.

Hi again haroldh, long time no speak, I have been working abroad, but I am now back in action, I do have some more information regarding my first win, It was Brands Hatch, National event 8th July 1962, I did win,
Bill Boddice was fifth, so I got that bit wrong, I now need some pictures, as I need to submit this information to the Isle Of man TT profile. Perhaps you can help?
Happy new year.

The above Mallory Park meeting was the season opener and heres another meeting which was an International meeting. 'The Hutchinson 100' which attracted a class fieild.
It was on 6 4 63. You were entered in the 500cc Sidecar Scratch Race with plenty of continental BMW entries over 23 mls.
You were # 75 PT Field/A Poulton Norton and also entered the BMCRC Sidecar Championship over 35 mls.
Your entry Licence #Z7087 and passenger was #Z7469 from London E8.
Again no results, but Fritz Sheidegger, Florian Camathias, Max Deubel, Pip Harris, Otto Kolle, Claude Lambert, Ray Pollard, Chris Vincent & Tony Wakefield all on BMW's.
Colin Seeley & 'our' Owen Greenwood was on the Matchless and Bill Boddice on his Norton.
What happy days they were watching world class exponents.
