And come to that, why does the letter c in brackets - upper or lower case - become ©?

Works with R too.

Why does that sort of thing get implemented when there's a perfectly good ASCII code for the symbol and putting a letter c in parentheses (brackets if you prefer) is part of normal text assembly? And come to that, why does the letter c in brackets - upper or lower case - become ©?
And I presume that either we are not allowed to criticise or at best we are ignored.

This is probably the most insignificant post ever when it comes to feedback but I've noticed a problem with the ;) smiley. It requires a space in front of the ';)' or it doesn't work, plus when you edit posts it seems to lose the space which turns the ;) into a ';)'.
Please fix it IMMEDIATELY.
Doesn't look like it's been fixed as I just tried to do one in the TNF Goodwood Revival thread and it didn't work - tried to fix it by editing it...still didn't work.

It also screws up when quoting posts with a wink smiley in, as demonstrated in your post!Doesn't look like it's been fixed as I just tried to do one in the TNF Goodwood Revival thread and it didn't work - tried to fix it by editing it...still didn't work.
