So maybe the mistake is in someone presuming J L van Dieten was Joky, and not her father, brother or husband?

This from Johannes van Dieten (the son) who lives right here in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada:
"...Thanks for getting hold of me and we certainly will have to get together. I have some great pictures that I will have to show you. That is indeed my father in those pictures... If you had anymore inquiries about our family racing history I maybe able to fill in the gaps. Let me know...Yes my mom is still alive but in a deteriorating condition. I am hoping to fill in the gaps of racing history for you. My uncle also a racer is still alive and I am very close to him. I am able to provide you with as many facts as you want but it be best for me to get a list of questions and I will get them answered..."
I hope to meet with Johannes on Tuesday.

Checking. Please wait as not all pick up the phone ;-) There are about 34 private Schaepman's listed in the phone directory.
Artica was a Dutch photo agency that took on assignments. No longer active it seems. But there are some Pennarts photo agencies.
A.N.P. (Algemeen Nederlands Persbureau) is Holland's main press agency. Still in full swing and behind many news media for ages. Would be easy to contact them.
Fotobureau Stokvis (Photo Agency): Mr. Dick Stokvis sold out in 1973. His company was run by others until 1999 and then sold to the The Hague city archives. However all negatives dating before 1972 have been lost.
