Not sure if this scenario has come up many times historically, but are there any compelling reasons for teammates fighting for the WDC to share setup data after the team's WCC is already mathematically won?

For instance, if RBR had already cleaned up the WDC, I can easily see Mark or Seb make a logical argument that they no longer needed to share setup and other engineering data since they were now competing individually against the other side of the garage and the team's interests were already taken care off. Do teams have internal policies for such scenarios?
