I am not a PS3 owner but why would you choose that over a cheap wheel and pedals?
So you don't have some huge contraption in your living room.
Most Ps3 owners output to TVs.

But that is pretty neat. It looks cool.

Im not sure however that this will actually work.. odd little hand controls can be a lot more trouble than they are worth.

Ill be honest, I currently have a problem with a wheel. No problem to buy a g27 but at the moment it is not convenient to have one in the room with my tv, I have nowhere to put it when not in use, and would need a frame mounted one to be able to use it.

The big difference is that there is a range on the gas/brake with separate potentiometers. Current PS3 controllers are odd -they were not made with racing games in mind. R2 and L2 buttons are almost binary.
The thumb wheel has to give better control than a little joystick.
It's not out yet, but I'll be mindful of reviews. It's rare that racing peripherals like this are better.
There's only one better controller I've ever seen...

Looks good to me - and cheap! I have to admit that I just can't get on with the joysticks, I thought perhaps I was the only person in the known Universe that didn't use them, so this controller cheered me up! There is no way I would be able to use a wheel without another divorce...

Looks cool, but I always thought the only thing wrong with the PS3 controller was the triggers.

Those are just extenders? Doesn't fix the range of control issue.
Sony purposely avoided making an Xbox-type controller for the Ps3 because they had development deals with wheel makers.
My main issue with PS3 controllers is that they are too small.

And no, I didnt buy a wheel. Had various 'might get this' ideas recently but then realised I have a fundamental problem with storage and use right now.

At last, an analogue brake to use with the hands. I hope that it feels "harder" the further down you push, like a real brake pedal.

I fairly recently bought a wheel, but couldnt be arsed with it so gave it away, and i hate using analog stick or trigger on pad for accelerating. If i can find one i might give this pad a try.
