I've never understood what is the big deal about Kimi.

I was starting to view him as a legend after 2007 but when Massa thrashed him in 2008 I started wondering just how good is this guy.

Obviously the guy is very talented but he strikes me as abit like Joe Frazier, a one trick pony.

I've never understood what is the big deal about Kimi.

But more seriously, to some he is a legend, to some he isn't, he's certainly produced some legendary results/drives, at least in my opinion, but one trick pony ? he's trying a sport totally different to that which he's famous for, I can't recall seeing Joe Frazier razzing round in a Citroen, he's quite handy at many winter sports, apparently he's not a bad ice hockey player either, it might just be an interesting documentary, he seems quite open and relaxed in the short clip.

I'll never understand the fascination with Raikkonen. Sure, on his day he was fast, but there are far better ex F1 drivers who in my opinion would be lend themselves to a more entertaining biopic.

Your point about Driven is spot on. My head was thinking Non-Fiction Documentaries but my fingers didn't type that!

Although I am pretty sure I saw Vettel with 4 quarters on his left rear tire in Practice.

Documentaries don't have to be historical. Perhaps his current life is interesting enough.

Give me half a dozen Citroen C5's, a blonde wig, video camera and half a million dollars, and i'll tape me crashing into trees, boulders, rocks, and generally reprofiling the shape of my car against an impassive object with pleasure. That's not even to mention that bar tab that i'll have to run up to get in character.

So i disagree, if Raikkonen's documentary wasn't historical to a certain degree, then i could grab most of the relevant footage with a webcam and a night out in Scunthorpe.

Thanks looks interesting, judging from the trailer the Iceman's lifestyle didn't turn so bad after leaving F1.

Massa thrashed him in 2008.

What? Rosberg is thrashing Schumacher right now and Senna used to thrash everyone, but Kimi was well on his way to second title in 2008, when everything started to go terribly wrong with people crashing into him on the pitlane etc. He still posted 10 fastest laps in 2008, so the speed was there but it took too many laps to generate heat in to the tires. Yes, Massa had better season overall, but didn't thrash Kimi no more than Webber is thrashing Vettel right now.

The most interesting (and shocking for many) is to see how laidback, joking and happy Kimi is in reality - not the autistic guy who doesn't even speak ;)

I'm looking forward to this documentary since if it shows the real side of Kimi then it should also shut up many mouths
