I was starting to view him as a legend after 2007 but when Massa thrashed him in 2008 I started wondering just how good is this guy.
Obviously the guy is very talented but he strikes me as abit like Joe Frazier, a one trick pony.

Even if that was the case, winning a WDC in such a memorable way while driving for Ferrari is one pretty decent trick for any pony...Obviously the guy is very talented but he strikes me as abit like Joe Frazier, a one trick pony.

I've never understood what is the big deal about Kimi.

Lol @ thrashed, someone either already has, or certainly should, "strike you, a bit like Joe Frazier", it might knock some sense into your head

But more seriously, to some he is a legend, to some he isn't, he's certainly produced some legendary results/drives, at least in my opinion, but one trick pony ? he's trying a sport totally different to that which he's famous for, I can't recall seeing Joe Frazier razzing round in a Citroen, he's quite handy at many winter sports, apparently he's not a bad ice hockey player either, it might just be an interesting documentary, he seems quite open and relaxed in the short clip.

I'll never understand the fascination with Raikkonen. Sure, on his day he was fast, but there are far better ex F1 drivers who in my opinion would be lend themselves to a more entertaining biopic.

Iceman document coming 2011Iceman Red Bull Commercial coming in 2011. Trailer is out now! Very interesting material coming. Looks like it's some kind of behind rally document. We see that side of Kimi's life what we usually don't see. Trailer here: ICEMAN
Fixed it.

The more movies about Motor Racing the better. I don't see any downside to this.
Have you ever watched "Driven" ? It's like Talledega Nights, but without the comedy.

Your point about Driven is spot on. My head was thinking Non-Fiction Documentaries but my fingers didn't type that!Have you ever watched "Driven" ? It's like Talledega Nights, but without the comedy.

Although I am pretty sure I saw Vettel with 4 quarters on his left rear tire in Practice.

I'd put more stock into the racing credentils of "Herbie goes to...." then Drivel, sorry i mean Driven !

Can hardly call it a documentary with all of his F1 life missing
Documentaries don't have to be historical. Perhaps his current life is interesting enough.

Give me half a dozen Citroen C5's, a blonde wig, video camera and half a million dollars, and i'll tape me crashing into trees, boulders, rocks, and generally reprofiling the shape of my car against an impassive object with pleasure. That's not even to mention that bar tab that i'll have to run up to get in character.
So i disagree, if Raikkonen's documentary wasn't historical to a certain degree, then i could grab most of the relevant footage with a webcam and a night out in Scunthorpe.

Thanks looks interesting, judging from the trailer the Iceman's lifestyle didn't turn so bad after leaving F1.Iceman document coming 2011. Trailer is out now! Very interesting material coming. or a plot, or acting talent, or anything interesting at all. 2 hours of Stallone mumbling incoherently.

Here's a sneak preview :-

Let's hope it's just not one long interview. As driver Kimi was sometimes very exciting, as a talker, not so much

Do it in some "C4's" and it will be even more realistic!

Perhaps problems with spirits? Why is Kimi crashing so much this year? I understand Rally is very different from what was he used to but still.

Kimi Raikkonen - my life in a bottle.
Kimi Raikkonen - the man who takes sh*t.
Kimi Raikkonen - ice, girls and a team who paid me GDP of Uganda to not drive in Formula 1.
and I can keep going and going.....

I wouldn't bet on that around here. The most interesting (and shocking for many) is to see how laidback, joking and happy Kimi is in reality - not the autistic guy who doesn't even speak ;)
I'm looking forward to this documentary since if it shows the real side of Kimi then it should also shut up many mouths

You are just trolling for someone to say something bad about Kimi. You might be right Red, some myths are just too hard to break ;)

I saw the topic and more than one interesting title for this 'documentary' spring to mind:
Kimi Raikkonen - my life in a bottle.
Kimi Raikkonen - the man who takes sh*t.
Kimi Raikkonen - ice, girls and a team who paid me GDP of Uganda to not drive in Formula 1.
and I can keep going and going.....
If they're all as unimaginative as those you've started with, please dont.

Please do so.

I reckon after your first slight off you'd **** your pants and never return.
