Finger Galore. Scary Helmut Marko on the podium. Ew..
Anyway, congrats to Vettel. He deserved it

And LOL at Ferrari  Couldn't stop laughing when Alonso pulled over and showed his love for Petrov.

Yep, can't believe McLaren did what they did, but the consolation is that it wouldn't have changed anything.

Ferrari, oh dear.

Fantastic job Sevastian and Red Bull, congrats.

Mark nowhere to be found and Alonso/Ferrari awful. Very sad ending for both of them.

1st- Apologies to Redbull- they were right about not moving Vettel over in Brazil

2nd congratulations to Sebastian Vettel- he really did deserve to win the championship given the mechanical ills that prevented a couple of wins earlier in the year. He also totally dominated the last 2 races. Webber and Alonso just didn't have it this race.

Gotta give props to RBR. Incredible car engineering. Great strategy (at least lately). No team orders despite so much bad luck (must have been tempting).

Couldn't be happier for Newey, Horner, and Seb. Stuck to their guns doing the right thing, despite incredible public criticism, and prevailed

I know, what pisses me off is that I, from my armchair with noting more than LT immediately knew, that both decisions were absolutely awful, and it wasn't the first time this year.

The finger is not excessive like before, glad for that. Good thing that RBR didn't do the position swap in Brazil.

Fantastic race, pity about Michael's early exit.

Vettel: great job,did exactly what he had to do-totally deserved win and title. Youngest champ, first win in a wet race, debuted with a 7th place...Schumacher's spiritual successor indeed.;)

Hamilton: excellent drive, good overtakes. Had no chance at winning anyway, good effort.

Alonso: fail drive. No surprises to me as I consider him massively overrated, the only people that're going to be surprised are those that consider him the best driver of the current generation. (utter rubbish)

I suppose he had more offs in one race as Hamilton has had all season? So much for the fanboy comments from yesterday, don't you lot look utterly foolish now..

Webber: average drive. Whatever the hell happened to him,I hope it doesn't end in tears for everybody involved at Red Bull. I have a feeling he's been holding something back until the season ends so he could then lash out at Horner and co. Hope not.

Great race and great end to the season: overdue title for Seb. And once again, excellent job by Red Bull for ensuring both their drivers stayed in the title hunt (unlike Ferrari): paid off big time.

Now, how long will it take for Alonso to figure out that he got screwed of a championship by his own team's incompetence? That's when it gets interesting.

Why the F was Fernando venting on poor Petrov? Blame his own team for poor strategy, or designing a car that is not quick enough.

Anyway, rather boring race, but good result for RBR and also strong showing by Mclaren.

I guess the Red Bull car deserved the titles...and frankly, Vettel deserved it of the two drivers.

Turns out Red Bull were very right not to employ teamorders, especially as it was the lesser driver who was ahead on points.

Shame for Alonso...

atleast spares us all the "Alonso is the greatest" threads/unbelievable gloating that would have propped up here

MW too slow this time around; do question however how early he was brought in by RBR notwithstanding his rears going off. It was an immediate reaction rather than seeing how it would go another couple of laps.

Dont know how much credit to give RBR on strategy and whether they brought webber in to pressure ferrari into the fatal call

Alonso, poor sportmanship for the final finger to Petrov - he ain't massa mate..

Would have loved to see mclaren try to back button into vittal:)

To the Alonso bashers--it's the cars, not his talent. And trust me, I'm just as happy as anyone that he lost. But it's not his fault. The man can drive. Ferrari are just shockingly inadequate when it comes to strategy. It has nothing to do with Alonso's talent, which is prodigious.

Having said that, I'm happy that jerk lost.

If there is no Safety Car on first lap, Alonso will be the WDC, so Schumacher help Vettel to win the title.

Fantastic drive by Vettel and THANK YOU Red Bull for not giving into the legions of moaners who said you should back one driver when both were clearly in the hunt for the WDC. Winners all round at Red Bull Racing.

Lol. Well at Ferrari some heads are going to roll. Alonso didn't really do a bad job, except for his disgracefull blaming of Petrov after finishing. RB got everything right, and Webber well he looked bad all weekend. Pretty boring race otherwise, passing is still a problem in F1 maybe better next year. Grats finger?

Well done also to McLaren for a strong finish....now remember to make the car fast earlier in the season from now on eh?

:rotfl: at the evil red team......and watching Alonso's Homer Simpson style reaction towards Petrov was GOLD!!!!!!!!

Well done Vettel and Red Bull.

Webber and Alonso just got on the wrong strategies. Pretty rubbish race, it's just a dull circuit. Well done to the Maccas and Renaults. Really did both play a part in this race, particularly the Renaults. Great results for Rosberg, Petrov and Alguersuari. The early pit stops really did work for them. And great defending from Petrov. Bit rude from Alonso at the end, very unsporting. Well done Massa for sneaking the last point, but he just couldn't get past that Toro Rosso.

Schumi was lucky in the race to escape uninjured and it was a disappointing end to a disappointing season. Disappointing end for Liuzzi too.

Finally, well done to Lotus for getting 10th and winning the new teams battle. Hopefully, the new teams will be up with the midfield next year. Well done to Williams just beating Force India for 6th in the championship too, a big payday for them too.

Great season, roll on 2011.

Sure we all know the guy can drive, and very well as well. But he simply failed to deliver today. Ferrari might have picked the wrong time to pit but he had all the time in the world to take petrov and had a lot fresher tyres as well. He simply failed to do it and didn't show to be a good loser as well.

Now ofcourse congratulations to Vettel and his fans, he did an amazing job today and is a worthy champion, now bring on 2011 already i can't wait to see if the other german a so called Schumacher will be able to fight for the wins again. :)
