Still the assemblies looks awesome tho. Looking forward.
There's nothing wrong with the "factory part" of Williams, it's the design department that is the problem. Williams-cars have lacked downforce since Neweys departure, and we can only hope the revised technical organisation is able to come up with an aerodynamic efficient car for next year.

At least it was a good looking one!

So the last hurrah for what is probably Williams worst, relatively speaking, car.
At least it was a good looking one!
We haven't had the first hurrah yet!
I agree it does "look" good though

If Bottas gets the drive instead that would be a major mistake IMO.

Where did you hear that?Boullier's said Barrichello doesn't really have a chance so I think it's curtains for Rubinho tomorrow...

Thanks.
Here's the excerpt for others interested:
Boullier added that it was unlikely the team would take Rubens Barrichello, despite holding talks with the Brazilian.
"It is true that he [Barrichello] came to me, and we had a couple of emails exchanged because he showed interest as he does not know what Williams is doing. But I told him he was not at the top of the list so he should not have much expectation."
That kind of sucks. I have a feeling Renault will stick with Senna and Petrov. If they drop anyone, I'd be surprised if they took Romain "Sideshow Bob" Grosjean over Rubens or Sutil.
I hope that Frank decides to keep Rubens. Give him one more season in the FW34, in a car capable of points finishes, and he'll put the car where it needs to be.

Petrov is pretty sure to stay yes, though it is impossible to say about the second seat. They are very keen on Grosjean but Senna has put in some very good performances, notably today's qualifying. I think Rubens and Sutil don't stand much chance at Renault, its down to Senna, Grosjean or Kimi, though he is rather unlikely I should think.
As it seems Kimi is probably not coming to Williams Rubens would be my first choice for Williams next year, or failing that Bottas either straight in or in 2013 with Sutil as a seat warmer for next year
Some good news on the sponsor front, though not the hoped for QNB deal. Randstad is increasing its deal and getting more coverage, which should mean more money

If Barichello was a rookie, fair enough. But he is a veteran and deserves more respect than keeping him hanging on like this. If the reports are to be believed that Barichello will be overlooked even if Kimi does not sign then they should just let him go or at least tell him straight out that his chances of the seat are pretty much nil.
