As he also did with Senna in F3.
(sucks air in through teeth) you can't say that in public Mate ...
I agree with others above, Brundle should have bagged more wins and capable of a WDC had different timing with cars occurred, certainly under rated.

The pre-1984 Brundle might, but I always felt that after the accident he was never the same again unfortunately. Still a very good driver and a hugely intelligent guy.
Great point Gabrci! So, which bit do the underarted drivers lack.. bravery, intelligence, or stupidity...

Stefan Belloff over-rated? I have to laugh about your mind! Bellof was not only fast Group C (6.11 Nürburgring) he was unbelievably fast at Formula 2 and had unfortunately short racing-carriere. He was a car-mechanic and he was one of the hardest working driver in his short life. Please rethink your mind. This is not a expert mind! Are you sure? I'll keep my fingers crossed

No, not expert minds, analytical minds rather than emotional home town hero ones.

You present no argument to back up your opinions. I have stated why his Group C and F2 appearances can be questioned. I've also stated that I liked his style - I thought he was a terrific driver to watch, fully committed and spectacular. I was a fan - though not a blinkered one.
Please read my original posting more carefully. I did not say that he was overrated. I posed the question that he may have been, and backed this up with examples. Both Brundle and Johansson were also highly rated at the time, but are not generally considered to be in the same league as Bellof. I'm interested to find out if there is anyone who can shed some light on why this is. For instance, how highly was he rated within the team, or by his team-mates at the time.
