Well, F12KCS it's a big improvement over F12K, but it's still a hardware hog and the graphics look a bit too cartoonish to me. The demo is available in the download section at Avault:

F1 2000 championship season by EA is really arcade like. I am only playing it on PSone, but I can't imagine that is much different in PC format. I am finding it to be an enjoyable game with lots of interesting details to keep me turning laps, but it lacks real world feel.
My guess is that GP2, Grand Prix Legends, are more simulator like than anything done by EA.

Don't get confused, the three versions (PC,PSone and PS2) are all different games and at different markets, so PC is very much Sim whereas PSOne isn't

Yes, andy is right - the PC version of F1CS2000 is nothing like the console games - it is actually a very good sim. Don't judge something just because it has an EA label on it. After all EA didin't write it, they just published it (put up the $$$ to get it to market). ISI (makers of Sports Car GT) wrote it. Haven't a clue who wrote the console versions but it was someone else entirely.
As for comparing it to Gp2/GP3 - well forget about GP2. With GP3, I think you get a better overall feel of being in an F1 weekend, it's a more polished-looking game. But F1CS2000 is definitely better in the physics department. The graphics are a matter of personal preference. Both games have an entirely different look and feel to them. But if you want the best physics F1CS2000 wins hands down. If you want an overall experience go with GP3.

Anyone remember Formula 1 '98 on PSone?
That was programmed by Visual Science and was bloody awful!
