Started with a TR2 in 1955, Elva sportscars of various types 1958-62, Lotus 18 (with 1500 Ford) in hillclimbs 1963, and a WRA 1964; don't know anything after that

It certainly is!
Perhaps an early Elva historian, Roger Dunbar??, can help, and if anyone has access to George Whitehead for the WRA bit, that may throw some more light.

We hare researching G Donald Hill's Elva. Did you ever get any information from here or another source? We have him racing the car through 1962. Then he seems to be racing a Lotus in 1963. Except a race late in August. There is an Elva that shows up in the US in early September. It seems like it might be his car. But we're thinking it is not because there is only a 2 week gap between the races. Unless that late 1963 reference was a typo or a different Elva.

5 May 1962:
"there was a small
sprint at Aintree, Keith Jones made best
time and Donald Hill (Elva Mk. 6) broke
the sports car record."
