[Batgirl]

Hi,

I went to the Australian GP in Melbourne last year and it was fantastic. Is it better going to a GP or watching it on TV! Definately going to the Gp, the noise, atmosphere, stuff you can buy, everything!
We stayed at a Bed and Breakfast in Albert Park and could walk to the track in 15 mins. A good idea in case their public transport went on strike again, as in 1997.
If you do stay in town, then on the race days they have free light rail trains to the circuit about every 10 mins. Fast and efficent.
Melbourne 1998 was a great experience, even though McLaren had the race won after the second lap.
